"Lovely friendly, helpful staff, comfy beds, a great breakfast and a nice atmosphere in the bar/restaurant. Building interior is a bit dated."

"Excellent breakfasts, well organised. Room clean and welcoming. Only issue was the parking which was a bit of a lottery"

"The room and cottage were great. Very peaceful location to stay and explore the nearby area, including Penrith"

"We had a great time at Lanehead Old School - stopping here for one night as part of our C2C route. Lisa was beyond accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure we were ok, fed and watered. Thank you Lisa for being so accommodating and welcoming."
