"This is in a good location close to the center of Copenhagen. We had a wonderful corner room with wide vistas. There are two NCH's in town, so make sure you go to the one you booked. My only quibble, is the lobby floor restaurant was a little nickel and dimey: they charge for bread and no tap water. "The stay blew away our expectations. We got a suite instead of a single room. The staff were probably the friendliest people in Copenhagen. The views of the canal out the window, the details paid to everything (the hidden fridge), the great water pressure. It's been years, maybe decades since a hotel impressed me as much as our stay at the Kanalhuset did."

"I'd never stayed in a hostel before so I was nervous of everything people say about hostels. I had no need to be worried. Staff were super helpful when I first got there as I prefer having a key rather than using my phone, so they set me up with that, and were more than happy to ensure I had a lower bed due to my disability. The solo traveller meet up is a fantastic idea, and the free drink which comes with it was a fantastic bonus. The rooms were perfect for what we needed, it was just a shame...
