"I was impressed with all the things not mentioned in the listing! They had a PS4 my 7 year old played. A toddler bed, also a foam bumper to put on the queen bed if you wanted to cosleep with your little. Toys for my toddlers. Fishing rods for my 7 year old. I brought life vests but they had them there. High chair and pack n play if you have a baby. The stairs up from the lake were a workout but it helped tire my kids out. I have a 1, 2 and 7 year old and I definitely think it was well suited for all age groups, even just adults with no kids. The water is shallow around the dock which was nice with littles and made fishing easier. The bath tub is HUGE which my kids love. Overall it was a great place to stay, and I honestly have no complaints. "

"My husband and I came here for our anniversary weekend and we had a great time! The cabin is quiet and peaceful; it is an excellent place to enjoy nature, while also only being about 25 minutes from Mount Pleasant. We loved being able to walk to the nearby nature preserve and experience a serene walk through the forest. The house itself was super clean and very nice! Kim is an excellent host!"

The setting was incredibly quiet, with a beautiful view of the river that we enjoyed every day. Our dogs had an amazing time too, which made the trip even better. "The property description was spot on. The beach area is beautiful. The only small problem we had was we wanted to use the grill and it was pretty dirty and they didn’t have a grill brush. They communicated quickly with us, we went and bought one and they sent us Venmo. So problem was solved fast. My son was married in Edmore so not too far from the lake house for him and his groomsman to have a place to stay one evening and my other adult children the next evening. I would highly recommend."

"Property was as described in the listing. Everything felt safe and clean upon arrival. The dock is a huge bonus if you want to enjoy the lake, my son and I caught 112 fish including a 6 lb largemouth for my son his personal best. The time off the lake was great with the large windows and the cabin gave us a nice place to ride out some weather, complete a puzzle and enjoy family time. Would definitely book again. "
