"I had a great time staying at the Grand Hotel. Parking was a bit out of the norm for me, but I’d recommend calling ahead of time to get the parking address for their customers and go straight there. The roads were blocked to gain access to the front of the building. Overall, very friendly staff and a clean room. I would stay here again in the future. "

"I stayed just one night during a business trip to Maassluis and was taken there for lunch. The position of the hotel and the ambience were such that I decided to stay that night rather than driving to an over expensive and anonymous airport hotel at Schiphol. Check in was quick, efficient and friendly so that was a good start. My room was at the top of the hotel with original timbers exposed so full of character. I would say that with -5C outside the room and especially bathroom heating struggled to cope but I was warm enough. The restaurant and the view from the restaurant is amazing and just perfect for a bored traveller that hates eating alone. Ambience by the bucket load and an excellent menu. I settled for the four course set meal and it was excellent. The service could have been more attentive but they were very busy and once I had a large glass of merlot in my hand, I did not mind waiting patiently. Breakfast was also good and this is a hotel I would love to stay in again but I suspect that it will be fully booked in the holiday season. One of my favourite stays, and such a shame that Mrs Jones could not have been with me because she would have loved it."

"I was staying at the hotel for business purposes and would have no hesitaiton in going back for holiday purposes. Given the general location (i.e. close to the largest port and industrial complex in Europe) the little town of Brielle is a magical haven with its narrow streets, varied buildings, magnificent church and range of shops & places to eat. The hotel gave me the friendliest possible reception, it had reasonable food and good beer, so was a perfect place to hide out after a hards day's work and a long journey."

"The hotel has newly refurbished plodding and bar now I hope that the rooms will follow. Whilst the rooms are looking dated and worn. The hotel staff keep them clean and in the best condition possible given their age. The beds are large and comfortable and the bathrooms are clean and have an amazing amount of hot water. "
