Nice hotel and friendly despite it's quite large size. Reception staff were very courteous and the restaurant and bar staff very friendly. Room was a decent size as was the bathroom. Breakfast was very expensive however.

It was an older room, but clean & has a reasonable gym. Needs a Concept2 Rowing Machine
The staff were very friendly and helpful. I loved the pool very much. The hotel is easy access to the beaches and the city centre with only 20 minutes drive. The breakfast was so so.
Outstanding as always. Hotel is beautiful and great for the area. Service is amazing. Perfect for longer business stays.
The food is amazing and the pub downstairs on Thursday - Sunday is awesome with great games.
Beautiful staff and settings as always. The pub on the weekend is superb with a great array of games to play.
The bar and restaurant is incredible. Location is super simple for public transport love the hotel!
Great place to stay. The bar area is really cosy and the food is fabulous as is the service. The only gripe is USB ports in rooms, that would have helped and the bed dipped in the middle. Still comfortable though
Room and bathroom were lovely and clean, but mattress could use an upgrade (even though I slept pretty good!). All amenities were present, including a small fridge, tea and coffee, however, the hair dryer could use some help (upgrade?).
Overall, for one night, it was a great stay, and the young lady who checked me in, was very nice and accommodating.

Lovely refurb, cool vibe in the restaurant and bar. Reception and bar staff are awesome. Bathroom has everything you need. Bed and pillows comfortable. Would like a plug near the bed or USB port but that’s me being picky.
Very nice and beautiful restaurant with delicious food. Nice spa area and swimming pool. Nice area around the hotel for walking the dog or enjoy nice wiew and nature. Enjoyed and relaxed here in the hollyday.
The hotel has newly refurbished plodding and bar now I hope that the rooms will follow. Whilst the rooms are looking dated and worn. The hotel staff keep them clean and in the best condition possible given their age. The beds are large and comfortable and the bathrooms are clean and have an amazing amount of hot water.

The place and location is fine, it’s further away from anything big, so it’s nice and quiet there.
Bad part:
So we booked a suit for 2 nights. The first second you enter the room, everything looks great. But just give it a second. We opened a mini bar, and see, that for 3 people, who stay for 2 nights in a suit, we were graciously given a lonely bottle of complimentary water. I guess fair enough, it was there, so thanks for that, I mean they don’t specify on the website if it a bottle per room or man. Give it another second, and you see a broken closet door, ripped off lock on the balcony door, the phone cable is also ripped off, scratches on the furniture. Balcony itself is not big, which is fine, but out of furniture there were 2 chairs and that’s it. But doesn’t matter much, because anyways if you sit down, you’d be starring at the balcony solid stone railing.
I should mention of course, after our complaint about the room condition, we were offered a couple of free drinks in the lobby bar. We negotiated it to get a free breakfast. The receptionist finally gave up and agreed to offer breakfast but only for 1 day and ONLY for 2 of us (we are a family with a kid, but our kid wasn’t a part of a deal…little shocking).
All in all, probably you might think, that the price is really affordable, so we shouldn’t have expected much. And we usually don’t. But this time we booked a SUIT in a 4-STAR hotel, so definitely didn’t expected to get a room, that seemed like it hosted Hulk.

Breakfast price seem expensive. We have opted out. Constant humming and machinery sounds at night. Not pleasant.
The restaurant and breakfast was great. Room decor and bathroom was a bit dated. It’s a loud hotel too. Room not only faced the main road, but guests were loud all night/morning. I could hear talking through the walls and doors slamming all night. And the sauna was closed for maintenance. That was the reason I picked this hotel.
