I thought it was very comfortable. I am sorry to se so much plastic & disposables at breakfast in a country which is working so hard at minimal waste. The staff are so noisy early in the morning. Woke me up at 5am shouting & laughing

Climate control in my room was deficient. I could get an even temperature. It was either really hot or blowing really cold air. The bed was some type of foam and it was overly uncomfortable. Wi-fi in room was horrendous.

The Far North

The cleaning personnel forgot one day to clean the room I occupied plus 3 others that my cousins were staying in. When reported to the front desk, I was told that they had new cleaning staff. Obviously not properly trained. The continental breakfast had a good selection.

Travelled to Sioux Lookout and stayed at the Beat Western. The hotel is clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and comfortable, and I was not disturbed by any noise. Although simple, the free breakfast was good, with a view over Pelican Lake. Overall, the only place I would stay in Sioux Lookout.

Everybody was friendly and helpful when needed besides one of the night shift workers was kind of rude. Only thing I disliked was the room tv, it worked but the screen wouldn’t change or the remotes wouldn’t work.

We stayed here before, the breakfast was good a while ago but not so much now. It’s really gone down hill. I found hair in the bath tub still and the pillows are too fluffy and soft, they flatten quite quickly. The pool temperature is nice. No sauna or hot tub though. It’s too bad it’s not as good as it once was, in a bit disappointed and as a family we will reconsider where we stay when in Sioux Lookout. Why advertise for a breakfast if it’s not good? Also, you don’t get many channels on their tv.

We’ve stayed here a couple times before! It’s a perfect location for us on our way to go fishing and the front desk staff are always very personable! Very nice place!
