"We were pleasantly surprised by this gem called Hotel Anthracite. Beautiful rooms, helpful staff, and a great addition to this small town!"

"Hotel is really nice . The front desk was amazing. They even had candies for kids for Halloween. The breakfast could use some vegetarian options"

"Honestly, I have nothing good to say about this place. I have NO idea how they got a good rating, because it is without a doubt, the worst place I have ever stayed at in my life. I wont go into detail here, because it would take me 3 days and 18 pages to describe how horrible this place is. I am not kidding. I will just add this, and then I'm done with this review: I woke at 4:00 AM, got dressed, and got out of that place as fast as I could."

"Very nice hotel, had to go find toilet paper though."

"The staff was extremely helpful. I appreciated the water available in the lobby. The roll-in shower was great."

"The shower and water pressure were among the best I’ve experienced staying in hotels. The downside was the front desk was hardly ever manned and we found ourselves waiting a long time for someone to come and assist us."

"Excellent experience from top to bottom. Very professional and courteous staff."

"Nice big rooms to spread out and a great breakfast with coffee in the lobby at 6 am for early risers!"

"Lovely host. Impressive breakfast. Adorable dog. We will be back!"

"Just need to fix the bathroom fixtures."

"Staff was very helpful and friendly and welcoming. Great service"
