"We enjoyed our stay in Silverton Colorado as much as we could. Our hosts were able to get us an early check-in at noon which was very helpful because my aunt was arriving via the train and was able to get out of the Sun and into our place. The house was well appointed it allows pets but unfortunately our little doggy had to be put to sleep a week before we came. There is no air conditioning and it does get a little warm from the hours of 6p to 9p. But cools down rapidly as the sun goes down. We did not spend much time in our Airbnb as we were very busy. The house is well located and just down the street from downtown amenities. Unfortunately both of our rental cars got flat tires and we had a great deal of difficulty getting any of the rental agencies to bring us a car. That required us staying a whole extra day. And luckily our hosts were able to accommodate us to stay another night,and even though this was super stressful knowing that we had a home base where we could call and receive cell phone calls helped a lot. If you are planning to drive anywhere outside of downtown Silverton I recommend something like a Jeep. I had a all-wheel drive Chevy Blazer and it got a flat as well. Silverton's a great town cool during the evenings but can be hot during the summer at daytime. I wish I would have been able to enjoy more the amenities but unfortunately I had to spend about a day and a half on the phone to get replacement vehicle"

"The house was very clean and decorated very nicely. My wife liked this as much as any rental we have ever stayed at. It had everything we needed. The grassy yard was very comfy for my dog. It is not fully fenced so we had to keep him tethered."

"The property was great. No A/C but at that elevation it’s not needed. Opened the windows to cool the rooms off at night. However, none of the windows had screens."

"House has everything you need and a great location. The stairs do creak loudly when walking on them, but once you accept that everything else is great.This was our second time starting here and will be booking again for next year."
