The Pepperpot was built in 1857 to commemorate Queen Victoria’a Golden Jubilee. It overlooks the village of Silverdale with views out over Morecambe Bay. Walk through Eaves Wood to reach it but be ready to get lost en route on the myriad of woodland paths.
Fab coastal campsite looking out toward Morecambe Bay. We stayed in the tent field. Good hot showers, on site shop ( in a tent), lots of walks and dog friendly beach. Pet friendly cafe The Wolf House Gallery Cafe opposite the site entrance. :)
Looking across Morecambe Bay. Grange over Sands to the right over the water.
You don't have to be a bird expert to enjoy a peaceful afternoon here.
Relic of its limestone quarrying past at Jenny Brown's point near Silverdale.Easy walk from Gibralter fm campsite. Anyone know who Jenny B was?
