"We loved our stay. I was worried about no air conditioning but the giant fan worked great. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We woke up to birdsong every day. I only have 2 complaints. The first was that we frequently didn’t have hot water for our showers. The second was that there was no way to tip with a credit card at checkout so I had to scramble for cash."

"Alfonso was very helpful to accommodate us, and also to find a place where I could make the payment by card. The house is a few steps away from the beach and everything is close by in Tortuguero. Room was spacious and comfortable. My suggestion for management will be to upgrade the common area, add a shared refrigerator, etc. Some small additions like those can upgrade the whole property by a lot."

Greeted at the dock, luggage taken care of, greeted with fresh watermelon juice, chef cooked such delicious meals (dessert included), housekeeping cleaned 2-3 times a day, cooper hooked us up with tours, everything was great and relaxing. 3 minute walk to the beach, 5 minute walk to the national park, 5 minute walk to the village. "
