We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that.
The pub itself was good for food competitively priced, which can be ordered thru the app (along with drinks)
The drinks we had an issue with - there were drinks on the app that weren’t available at the bar, the glasses had lipstick marks on them so washing is an issue & we were served a Fentiman’s Dandelion & Burdock drink 6 months out of date so stock rotation is a problem here.
Our room only had a fan to keep...
"Over all good place to stay, not ideal if you have any difficulty with stair. All rooms are on 1st or 2nd floor.
Reception is at the bar/ no separate reception for guests.
Parking a bit tricky as the building is on a roundabout. Pay parking is available over the road or another car park at rear of property both pay and display.
Limited parking at front of property that belongs to the sun.
Had to change room as was so hot

"A nice travellers rest inn, we had a very spacious ground floor room with an equally spacious ensuite, the room was a little noisy early evening, but was generally quiet overnight. Well located in the centre of Bakewell close to all the town has to offer. The adjoining pub has a great atmosphere with excellent food and drinks. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating."
