"This an older style 80s brick veneer hotel in Nelson Bay. It is well located to the main waterfront area and eateries, approximately a10-15 minute walk away. Check in was very easy with a friendly text message greeting from Wayne including an access code and room number sent after I booked online. Parking was onsite in front of the room. It was a cool evening in Nelson Bay and heating was required, the reverse air con worked well and warmed up the room quickly, we had a pleasant surprise...

As it's winter the indoor pool and spa area were perfect. The Ramada is directly across from water with Shoal Bay Country Club right next door.
