"This was a very private spot with a rustic but not roughing-it feel. The property is very large and beautiful, with some nice old hemlocks and spruce. There is a perfect bend in the river for fishing right in front of the house. The otter I saw one morning agreed, although I myself wasn't successful at catching anything. Maybe I'll return another time to give it another try. My dog loved the property, though mostly because he loved finding elk turds. Overall I felt very welcome and cozy here."

We loved all the fine details throughout the house, especially how much of it feels original and the great vintage photos of Eddie Bauer on the walls. The secluded beach access made it feel private and peaceful, and the fireplace with pre-chopped wood was perfect for cozy evenings.We even spotted a bald eagle perched on a rock and found lots of neat treasures along the beach—it was truly magical. One of our favorite touches was the VCR and DVD player stocked with old movies—it made us feel like kids again, reliving those nostalgic moments from our childhood.The host was extremely responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. This was the perfect family getaway—exactly what we needed. Would recommend 10 out of 10 times to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay."
