This is our 3rd year staying at this beautiful home! The house is cozy and fully functional and the view from the deck is just beautiful! My kids love the game room and I love the great kitchen! We were able to find drive into Lassen National Forest for consecutive days of sledding and nature walks. It was beautiful!!! Owners are always so helpful and friendly and very quick to respond to any questions or concerns!

Ridge view retreat was perfect for our needs during our visit to Lassen Volcanic National Park and the surrounding area. Excellent mountain get away

We had a fantastic time, Victor and Diana’s home was warm and inviting from the moment we walked in. Very clean and an extremely well stocked kitchen and very comfortable beds. The view of Mt. Shasta from the back deck was spectacular and the fire pit a bonus outdoor experience.

Best Vacation Ever!

This wonderful retreat was a perfect match for a perfect visit to the area around Lassen Volcanic National Park…. The property is large and spacious, well appointed and well kept. The property managers were very helpful in making sure our stay was very pleasant. And the wraparound deck is the perfect spot to star gaze in a premiere “dark sky” area.

This is a wonderful place to visit. The house is lovely, everything is in excellent condition, very clean, and very comfortable. Well-stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The location is peaceful with an amazing view from the very large back deck. I hope we will return many times.

Beautiful home in Shingletown

The property was spotless and has a ton of amenities. The wrap around balcony provides a fantastic view of the Mount Shasta. I highly recommend staying at this beautiful property next time you are in Shingletown. The home is located about three minutes from the little downtown where there is a nice little place to get a bite to eat and a drink in the outside beer garden with live music on weekends.

This is a beautiful house in a beautiful location. The owners have provided everything that's needed for a brief stay or for a long stay. We felt very much at home. Family Weekend

From the minute we drove up to the property, we were impressed. It’s in a beautiful setting, with a great view out the back. The house was super clean, and extremely well equipped. The kitchen has every kind of utensil, pot, pan, etc. to do the cooking we wanted to do. We would definitely rent this place again, and recommend it to anyone visiting the Lassen area.

Beautiful Views

We spent 7 days at Ridge-View Retreat. The house was beautiful, comfortable and clean. The back deck was perfect for quiet mornings reading and enjoying the breathtaking views of Mt.Shasta. The area is beautiful. We enjoyed Lassen National Park, Burney Falls and driving to the top of Mt. Shasta. The house was equipped with everything we needed- laundry detergent, all paper products and lots of spices for cooking. The owners thought of everything. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return. The best rental in the area

My requirements in searching for a vacation rental near Lassen park was: at least two bedrooms for adults (not one master and one with 2 twins), a porch with a view for relaxing after our hikes, and a grill. The house was perfect, much better than most rentals I looked at. Good light, well-stocked for cooking, quiet and comfortable. Close to a gas station, fishing supply store, post office and general store, Twenty minutes from Manzanita Lake in Lassen. I’d recommend it and stay again.
