Although the hotel is a little old (built in 1997 and 2008), all the facilities have been modernized. The staff provides the best possible services; the executive lounge has wider selection of foods and drinks compared to other 5-star hotels in this area. It even offers live music on Sundays in the executive lounge when everyone is enjoying their evening happy hours. The executive lounge manager, Mr. Goto, speaks perfect Chinese, Japanese and English, and leads his team by modeling how services should be done. Highly recommended!"

"Perfect hotel for families - big apartment with two separate sleeping rooms, The stuff was very kind. Our flight back was quite late and they let us stay longer in the apartment. Great value for money. We enjoyed our stay!"

"this hotel has the best view of the best part of Qingdao city. It is located cross from the famous beach. Guests can see sunrise, seagulls, maintain and the city scape from their windows. The subway and bus stations are less than 10 minutes walk distance. The hotel has a revolving restaurant on the 25th floor. The staff is hospitable. The building is old, yet room is clean and equipped with all necessities. "

"Booked for my parents and grandma. The front desk girl told them there’s complimentary breakfast when checking in. My parents didn’t asked and it’s totally ok if they didn’t say so. However when they went for breakfast the following day they were told that it was impossible and nobody would give them free breakfast. As I said we understand we didn’t pay for the breakfast when we booked rooms and we didn’t have to eat at hotel, but the way they treated us and responded didn’t make any sense. Hope they can do better in communicating with customers. "
