Rooms are pretty much sound proof, showers were open but private, room is straight to the point and there’s space under the bed for luggage, an open kitchen to heat up your convenience store finds. It's a cozy apartment that has luxury, modern amenities, like an open air bath, great bedrooms (both western and traditional) and lovely rain-style shower, and a minimalistic living room. "We had a fabulous 4 night stay at the Mogana Hotel in Kyoto. We stayed in room 701 which was spacious and had a balcony. The room was well appointed - water, juices, tea and coffee were replenished each day. The staff was very attentive and spoke very good English. Much different experience after exploring the area in the daytime. Stopped at the bakery next door daily. Easy access to city buses. Slight walk to train station. Only 12 rooms overall.
