In fact the chairs in great room are brand new have been upgraded from the picture. Kitchen is very functional and has a newly remodeled look. The lake house is great for relaxing with a view. While we were there for a quiet time, I think a family would find it enjoyable as well. Oh and didn't want to forget how clean the house was. Storm was rolling in so we tried to take the boat to the house… owner said there was lots of room. The angle of the driveway was prohibitive for backing a boat trailer in. "Spent the weekend here for a sporting event. This is just a fantastic spot. The lake is besutiful, the water is accessible and shallow for the kiddos. Tje gome is cozy and well appointed. The only thing missing is a swcond bathroom, socif you have a large party, be aware, but everything else was comfortable and perfect. Will stay again."

Holly but also close to the National Whitewater Center. We drove around the Charlotte area and was only 10-15 min to popular areas like NoDa, Southpark, and Southend.
