"We had everything we needed, but the entrance to the apartment was uninviting. There was a mop and bucket drying at our door. The gardens were unattended and there was bird poos and weathered furniture in the entrance. Something that could easily be fixed."

"Staff were very friendly and not arrogant at all. Very down to earth which we enjoyed and felt very welcome. Room was very big and not felt crowded. Shower was a double in a renovated modern bathroom. There were tables and chairs on the balcony up stairs that we could sit and watch the world go by. Meals were a good size and delicious. Car parking at rear too. Tables and chairs with an umbrella outdoor seating were popular. In the heart of the Daylesford township making it an easy access to all the shops, cafes, restaurants etc. Highly recommend."

"The motel is in a good location and right near a great cafe called Cello. The room had everything I needed and was clean and well kept. The double spa bath was great to relax in, however the jets didn't work that well, but it didn't bother me. There was a lovely welcoming note from the motel staff, and they were happy to help when I locked myself out of my room. It was afordable, in a good location and staff make you feel welcome."

"This motel is 5 star! Beautifully modernised and renovated, tastefully decorated with class and style. This isn't your average "this will do" basic room; this place is quality, comfortable, intentional, welcoming and pretty. It's the kind of room that you feel kind of sad to leave. The receptionist Sam was helpful and considerate, and we loved every minute of our stay here. If ever I have reason to stay in Daylesford, the Art Motel will be my first preference! Can't rate it high enough!"

"Likeable funky Victorian styling. Creaky floors added ambience. The huge bathroom had a bath with hand shower, bath leaked. The basin had serious cracks. Great Bistro downstairs."
