We have been sailing along the coast of Albania for the past couple of weeks. What a great country and the people are wonderful. As Americans it's nice to be somewhere the people like the USA and really appreciate the help Nato gave them.

The country is not really set up for private boats yet. There is only one marina in the country and all the other stops have been in major ports. But that's OK with us....we enjoy places that are not often visited by boat. The mountains and lakes in the northeast are fantastic and really worth the visit!

"The service was above and beyond expectations. My wife had an accident while hiking in Theth, and we had to come immediately back to Shkodër. The staff was so kind and accommodating, helping us with everything we needed, giving us the closest room to the elevator, service from the hotel restaurant (delicious food), ice from the bar to help with my wife’s injury, etc. I can’t say enough about how kind everyone was. On top of that all, the room was excellent, spotless clean, and very comfortable bed. Thank you Hotel Chicago!"

Great time and great staff

"The stay was absolutely fantastic and staff were incredibly welcoming and hospitable. We were provided with a great service throughout our stay and staff went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. Everyone was really kind and warm. The food and drinks were great and high quality; I would recommend staying here and will definitely be back. Thank you again to all the staff for your warmth and kindness 😀"
