New 1BR/1BA The Bear Stop Flat Paved Access Wears Valley Hot Tub WiFi Pool Table

What do you call the best elements of home situated at the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in Wears Valley? It’s called The Bear Stop. The Bear Stop is a one level cabin adjacent to Wears Valley Road with one bedroom, one bathroom, and easy access all year round. Being just minutes from the Parkway in Pigeon Forge, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Gatlinburg, and Townsend makes The Bear Stop ideally located for almost any adventure. The cabin comfortably sleeps two and is the perfect choice no matter what the season. The Bear Stop is non-smoking and does not allow pets.

A favorite place to relax after an active day in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park or shopping in Pigeon Forge is always the living room. The Bear Stop offers you the choice between the full-size upholstered sofa, a cozy love seat, or a comfortable recliner. The remote controlled electric fireplace is sure to capture your attention. Watch your favorite Netflix shows or movies on the flat screen Roku TV linked to the wireless Internet. The Bear Stop also features a custom made pool table and two arcade games with a wide selection of video games including Pac-Man, Centipede, Dig Dug, Space Invaders, and many others.

A trip to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg isn’t complete without a visit to a favorite Smoky Mountain eatery such as The Peddler or the Local Goat. However, if you decide to stay in and cook, The Bear Stop is ready to go with a full size kitchen. The Bear Stop has all the major appliances on hand (full-size refrigerator, microwave, electric stove/oven, and dishwasher), and several counter top appliances (including a blender, k-cup and regular coffee makers, coffee grinder, crock pot, waffle iron, and toaster) are provided as well.

Positioned behind the living room and kitchen is the full size dining room table. The table has plenty of space for two, but can easily seat four if guests happen to stop by for lunch or dinner. The dining table can also serve double duty as a game table or a work space for your laptop using the free Wi-Fi connection.

The Bear Stop features one main bedroom with hardwood floors and a king size bed. This warm and comforting space will make you feel right a home. Other amenities offered in The Bear Stop’s bedroom include its own Smart TV, a ceiling fan, two nightstands, and two bedside lamps. The one bathroom features a tile shower, a toilet, a single vanity, and the laundry closet with a full size washer and dryer.

Are you in need of a relaxing spot to cool your heels after an exciting day on the go? The Bear Stop offers just that and more with its rocking chairs and covered porches. Unwind in the large, covered two person hot tub. To make your Smoky Mountain vacation even more convenient, The Bear Stop offers amenities such as a porch swing, an iron & ironing board, and high speed wireless Comcast internet. You’ll also find a charcoal park grill just off the back porch. Finally, please note that due to its convenient location on Wears Valley Road, you will experience some road noise while staying at the cabin.

THIS CABIN!
This cabin was very clean and comfortable. It was located right off Wears Valley Road which is a busy highway, but that did not bother us at all. In fact, that made it so easy to get to all the fun, restaurants, and attractions in the area. Check in was a breeze. Looking forward to renting it again!

The Bear Stop Cabin was Wonderful!
This place is top notch! Beautifully decorated and spotless! Every thing you need is provided! The only negative is the road noise! It did not bother us that much, though! We really enjoyed our stay!

Great cabin/house
Wears Valley is a great place and only about 20 minutes from light #3 in Pigeon Forge. We have stayed in many cabins over the years in the Smoky Mountains and this is one of the nicest and well maintained. Only downside, as the owner informs, if the noise from the traffic. Weekdays not too bad. Saturday night was the worst, but calms down at 11pm and starts back at 7am. If you are looking for a very reasonably priced getaway, you can't beat this location and cabin/house. Would stay there again.

Perfect mountain getaway
Our 4 night stay was wonderful as the location is not too far from area attractions. The inside of the property was adorned with perfect and appropriate decorations. The property manager was very responsive. We appreciated the accommodations and all of the provisions of the house. If you want a super quiet experience, you may want to consider a different location as the house was next to a main road and traffic can be heard. It didn't really detract from our experience though as we knew what to expect. Will definitely consider coming back if we vacation in n the area.

Vacation in the Smokey mountains
My husband and I booked this house for a 10 day vacation. We were very impressed with this cabin. Very clean, beautifully decorated and well stocked. Hot tub was definitely a bonus, and the mountains views were amazing. We did quite a few attractions and you were about 9miles from the parkway with all the attractions. We absolutely loved it there. A few buildings down go and get a fried pie, they are delicious!!

Perfect for us!
Decorations were absolutely beautiful, tasteful and cozy. Kitchen was well stocked and had all the conveniences you needed. Bed was comfortable, jacuzzi was clean and relaxing. There was some road noise but after a day we didn’t notice them. We have stayed in many different places in the Smokies and we will definitely book this property again for the 2 of us.

Bear Stop
My husband and I stayed at the bear stop for a long weekend and get away. It was just what we needed. The place is located close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and on our last day found the treasures in Townsend. The cottage was clean and provided everything we needed. The hot tub was definitely an added plus. We will definitely go back.
