Century-old log cabin! Hot tub, game room, fire pit, 5 min from Pigeon Forge

Welcome to Greenwood Historic Cabin! Step back in time in this original, hand-built Smoky Mountain cabin. While experiencing a unique, old-time ambiance, you'll also enjoy modern comforts and amenities including the hot tub, outdoor fireplace, game room, large screen TV, fast internet, and more. Nestled into the edge of the forest at the foot of Bluff Mountain, you'll be transported to a simpler time, close to nature and focused on family and friends.

As you enter Greenwood Cabin, you'll feel the cozy embrace of the welcoming living room with its original stone fireplace and antiques, inviting you to settle in and enjoy a long, pleasant conversation with your loved ones, read a good book, or watch a movie. The smart TV has free TV shows and movies, or you can enter the credentials for your favorite streaming service.

Meander into the kitchen to create delicious meals, pop some popcorn, brew a cup of joe, or just skip the cooking and enjoy carryout at the kitchen table from a choice of hundreds of local restaurants. The decor will almost make you believe you've traveled back in time, but check out all the useful gadgets and appliances hidden away in the cupboards and drawers! It's a well equipped kitchen, with every pot and pan, plate, bowl, serving platter, and utensil you might need.

The two main bedrooms are furnished with queen sized log beds with the comfiest mattresses you can imagine. A common area in the back of the cabin has a twin sized bed with forest views. A clothes washer and dryer are available on site for your use, and there is flex work space for professional or school work.

Outside the front door you can rock on the porch as you enjoy the woodland and mountain views. Relax in the warmth of the hot tub. Grill up a masterpiece and dine on the spacious deck. Toast marshmallows over the fire in the chimnea outdoor fireplace. Enjoy a game of corn hole on the side lawn. Amble over to the game room and play shuffleboard, giant connect 4, skeeball, pub games, board games, and more!

***GREENWOOD CAN BE RENTED IN CONJUNCTION WITH PROPERTY #3544651, "Chrome Sweet Chrome", a vintage Airstream caravan located next door, if you need more room or just want a fun place apart from the rest of your group.***

There's a grocery store, two convenience stores, and a pizza/Italian food restaurant just half a mile from the cabin, so you needn't drive far if you need supplies or want a quick meal. A few miles further, there's a Kroger and a Publix to choose from when you want to stock up the larder.

When you're ready to head out for local fun, there's a wide variety of amazing attractions and wonderful restaurants in Pigeon Forge and Sevierville, just minutes away. Some of the closest attractions are listed below.

We loved this place!
Abby and Bill could not have been more accommodating when I asked to check-in a little early. This place is wonderful. The hot tub was a particular stand-out! My fiancee, friend and I enjoyed every moment of our stay, and I'm already thinking back fondly on all the lovely memories made in this rustic getaway.

Great place to stay!!
This cabin is the perfect distance from the main drag without sacrificing the beautiful mountain views. It’s spacious and cozy and there were a lot of amenities provided that I was pleased with, especially in the kitchen. The value you get staying here is incredible.

Owners are super friendly. I myself am not a fan of the area in general (pigeon forge/Gatlinburg), but the house was located close to about anything you could want. The house was advertised correctly.

Perfect getaway
This cabin is off the main drag and gives you peace and tranquility of mountains with still being close to all the attractions of the area. The patio with seating and the hot tub was great. The host is excellent and fast to respond as she came out on the weekend to replace patio lights. We all loved this cabin and even had a bear in the yard which made it even more enjoyable.

Bursting with charm!!!
We loved the mix of genuine vintage charm and retro modern appliances. The location makes you feel secluded, yet you are close to Pigeon Forge. Loved the creaky wood floors, soft beds, front porch rockers, and the feeling of home. These hosts are the best!!

Nice property
-The hosts are EXTREMELY responsive to texts if you need anything. I didn't have to text often, but when I did, a response was received in a very short time. -The cabin has very hot water for showers! The shower is very small though! -The kitchen is stocked with pretty much everything you would need to cook your own meals there. Fridge and freezer works great. -It is within 15 minutes of all the fun things in Pigeon Forge and under 30 minutes to attractions in Gatlinburg. We loved that we were so close to everything! -The front porch is huge and so nice to sit on in the early mornings and evenings. -Our 3 kids loved the game room, especially the shuffle board table! -Allowed us to check in early! -The hot tub was nice and hot and the jets worked great. My kids loved it! The only negative feedback I have for this cabin is the cleanliness. I am not sure if the housekeepers are just half cleaning, but the cabin was NOT clean when we got there. There were cobwebs in the bed my daughter was going to sleep in as well as trash on the side closest to the window. There were also spiders and cobwebs in shower. Bathroom floor was not clean at all. Dead flies and wasp on the windowsill of the living room. The corners had lots of dead bugs as well. I'm sure if I had reached out to the owners, they may have sent another cleaner out, but I just tidied up myself because we didn't want people in the cabin with all of our things. Overall, a 7/10

We only stayed for a couple days . But from the start we was able to get ahold of the host. The cabin was easy to find and it was just a short drive to everything. We wasn’t able to see any of the mountains. Because of the trees and the weather conditions. But that’s ok! Overall it was a great stay !

We always go to yhe beach, but this year our son wanted to go yo Tennessee. Beautiful cabin in a beautiful area. Private and uncrowded. Everything was perfect. One son was disappointed over the lack of televisions in the bedroom, but that was a great way to push him into family activities away from electronics. If we do come vack to Tennessee, we will definitely stay here again.

The cabin was very nostalgic and we enjoyed looking at all the antiques. Quiet area where we felt very safe. The lights on the porch at night were my favorite. Lots of extras in the house like appliances, hairdryer, etc....The view was very peaceful. Everything was very clean. Bill & Abby were wonderful hosts and easy to contact. We look forward to returning in the future.

Cutest little cabin!
This is a historic cabin and they have decorated it with nostalgic decorations. Even the modern appliances, the refrigerator , microwave and garbage cans, look nostalgic. Great front porch with 4 rocking chairs. Fabulous back deck with a hot tub, wood burner and plenty of chairs. It was so hot we couldn’t really enjoy the deck because we couldn’t handle sitting in the sun. There is a game room full of games to keep you occupied and, yes, there is air conditioning in there also. The only draw back is there is only one bathroom and with 4 people, you need to set up a schedule for showering and getting ready. The location is great! We were only about 10 minutes from Pigeon Forge. I definitely recommend this cabin for a nice little vacation! Thank you Bill and Abby!

Lovely Cabin
Made me feel like I was never leaving the parks. It is beautifully decorated, and the best part was the hot tub. If there’s anything we weren’t happy about I guess it would be the firmness of the beds. They were all a little bit too soft for my parents, so much that they were complaining a lot about their back being in pain. Besides that, everything was perfect.
