"Excellent. Walking distance to metro station. You exit the hotel, turn right, and I will find the metro entrance a block and a half or so away. Two konbinis (convenience stores) within walking distance, a FamilyMart and another one. Check in using the tablet should be a breeze if you completed the pre-check in. The room was exactly as shown on the pictures. Overall, an excellent property. Highly recommended. "

"I would give 5 if not for the breakfast that they provided, they will only provide a choice of 3 different grilled sandwich with coffee with Japanese breakfast standard they could’ve done better. But I will comeback again if I had to stay in the area. The receptionists are very helpful, they gave us an early check in once our room is ready, we were 5 so we had the biggest rooms with an open air bath, 2 kitchenette’s, and 2 washer and dryer inside our room. It’s walking distance to Gion, Kamo...

"The Family Suite was perfect for my family of six. We appreciated the convenience of walking to the grocery store and having easy meals in our dining table. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating. I look forward to visiting Mimaru Kyoto Kawaramachi Gojo again. "

"We stayed in a large basement unit. It had a mini kitchenette. We also got to use the saunas that were available to reserve for an hour a day. It was a pleasant surprise to be have a whole other area for relaxation. Loved the washer/dryer combo in the unit. "

"It is my second time staying at a Mimaru property in Osaka, and reason for my return is that the hotel offers very spacious rooms suitable for small groups and location is always close by to dining and shopping. Staff is always friendly and helpful and check-in and check-out process is always convenient and easy. Highly recommend and will stay again! "

"I booked a 2 room suite for the second leg of my Japan trip. I couldn't have been more pleased with our accommodations. It was clean and so spacious! It was basically an apartment. The washing machine was easy to use, and kitchen amenities were great. The staff is courteous and helpful. It was also walking distance from Kyoto's shopping district. The beer and wine happy hour in the lobby was also a plus. Book this property if you are travelling with a family, don't want to feel cramped...

Mimaru is also within walking distance to the famed Shinsaibashi-Suji Shopping Street. There are also plenty of amenities, which make it very convenient for travellers.
