"Front desk clerk was very friendly, inviting and efficient - a great first impression. Hotel was only 8 months old so cleanliness was good but inexplicably the shower stall was already leaking water! The room was rather cramped but comfortable. Our dinner was good and made better by excellent service. Since we had an early flight we partook of the breakfast. The variety wasn't bad but it was in no way a good value for what we got. "

There are many hotels close by to dine at. Also the Santa Justa lift is right around the corner and Rossio Square is just down the road. We loved everything about this hotel. "This hotel is in a great location where you can easily walk or take the metro to nearby tourist attractions. The rooms are on the smaller side and they do not have a refrigerator or desk, which is something I like to have when I'm staying at a hotel. Despite these limitations, the rooms are kept extremely clean and look exactly like the pictures. The blackout curtains really helped my sleep. The staff at the front desk were always very friendly and answered all of our questions. Would definitely recommend staying here if you're in the area. "

"The Mundial is I a great location to enjoy the Old City with lots of shops, restaurants and transportation options. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Love the roof bar with views of the castle. Food and drinks are excellent. The rooms are comfortable with firm beds. It’s also nice to have the outdoor balcony. It’s an older hotel but kept up nicely. "

The subway and train station was only a 3 minute walk from the hotel so if you didn’t want to use the free shuttle to downtown you could quickly take those modes of transportation "
