Food is superb including the generous and fresh breakfast. Although a little out of town, this is what makes it so special and relaxing. "

"We chose to leave our car at a parking garage in Naples and took the ferry to Ischia, landing in Forio. That is the closest port to Sant’Angelo. We took a 20 minute cab ride to SA and picked up an electric vehicle (due to the fact that it is a totally pedestrian town). We were then brought to our door, Casa Mucuccio. What a view! "The hotel was in need of renovation, lots of decorations were in poor condition, rooms were outdated and poorly maintained. The staff were super and always pleased to help, but they were understaffed. The meals were not very good, and the buffet was exceptionally poor. Breakfast was not even continental breakfast. Evening meal was badly prepared and the choices were limited to two types of pasta , fish and occasionally chicken. Salad selection was scarce and no chilled section. Desert was none...

"We really enjoyed staying at La Rotonda sul Mare. It was the perfect location for our vacation. Amerigo and his staff were extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful.
