"We had a lovely stay at this cabin. Everything was excellent including the location. Only one small suggestion that would have made it an 11/10 if the kitchen had a couple more things like a lighter/matches, tin foil, an 8x8 pan, and a salt shaker. Otherwise loved our stay and would definitely come back!"

"My bad in not renting a cabin with AC when summer temps were in the 90s. Despite running 11 fans, we were still hot. We also had brought our big dog, who we struggled to keep cool. The cabin's location is great, in the Blue Springs Lake community with many amenities including two private lakes, pool, pickleball, a restaurant, and much more. So close to restaurants in town and Big Trees State Park. The cabin is well-equipped and decorated with cute wall art. There is no open cupboard space to store food. Not sure how groups of 8 manage. It was nice that beach chairs and mat, and beach towels were provided."

"Pros: Communication with the property manager was great. He responded to texts promptly. The layout of the house is conducive for large groups and the loft was great for a group of kids. There were plenty of cups, plates and kitchen amenities. The process for using the Blue Lakes pool and lake was easy. The location was perfect for visiting Big Trees State Park.Cons: When we arrived, it appeared the house had been closed up for some time. The smell of moth balls was overwhelming and we had to hunt them down in all the closets and cabinets to dispose of them. The house itself was clean but the extra fans and bedding in the closets were dusty. They were missing the toaster although they had other cooking equipment (air fryer, multiple coffee makers, large pots and pans). The unit over the garage gets very hot and the window AC is very loud when trying to sleep."

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an all around great time. We needed a large space for the family and this fit the bill. Right on the 5th tee and had a lot of fun watching the golfers. We may have found our place for annual Blue Lake Springs vacation. Fabulous kitchen and plenty of room for the grandkids. Only caveat is steep driveway."
