Initially, there was communication delay/error with the host caused by VRBO app. It will say host sent the message but I could not see the message. To make a long short, issue has been resolved and I was able to check in normally. Property address was little difficult to find even though Naver map got me to the location. Picture of the building or sharing landmark might be helpful for future visitors.
Despite of a few minor issues in the beginning, my overall experience at this property was excellent! The property is strategically located in the center of everything. Walk to Mangwon market is only 5 minutes away where every meal and street food was a great experience. You can get to Hongdae on a bus in 10-15 minutes. You can walk to Mapo Guchung station (line 6) in 10-15 minutes. Hapjeong station is further away but you are located in between the two where you will find plenty of restaurants, bars, local bakeries and many interesting places. Han river/ Seoul Battleship Park is 5-10 minutes walking distance and it's a great place to go after a heavy meal or for a short stroll with a beautiful view of the river.
The apartment itself was also amazing. It's super clean and nicely decorated without going overboard. Interior seemed new and I could immediately tell the host is definitely in the architect or interior design related business. Everything was well organized, nicely decorated and easy to use. If I ever revisit this neighborhood, I will definitel stay here.
