"My sister and I spent just a couple of nights here and truly fell in love with the house and staff. Every interaction was easy and kind, the house was incredibly well kept, and the grounds were gorgeous. It's located a bit out of the way which is perfect for minimizing crowds and noise! Our room was perfectly sized and the bed/bedding comfortable. All in all, a 10/10. Highly recommend to anyone in any stage of life."

Richard is a right bloke, would loved to have stayed up talking to him at the bar but after walking the local fells went to relax in the brilliant room. "This was a lovely spot for my stay in Windermere. Very convenient to the train station and bus stop, as well as pubs and restaurants. My room was comfortable and roomy with a full bath, including tub, and a beautiful view of the fells when the weather was clear. Anita and Denis are great hosts - warm and welcoming. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. "
