"Nice place to stay in St Mary’s and it is close to Stratford. Quiet place. We never saw anyone that worked there, but that was okay."

"Very pleasant - basic but with all the needed amenities. Really lovely location with large grounds, very peaceful, in a pretty town. No food services on site but a fridge in each room to bring breakfast or snacks in. Excellent coffee (I didn't check the tea) served in the morning. We took the minimum room available and it was fine. "

"We had a clean, updated room in a great location in Stratford. We walked everywhere for the couple days we stayed there. The staff were all VERY friendly and helpful. Mercer also has a great restaurant as part of the hotel. The hotel is “boutique” type with 14 rooms above the restaurant. The only thing that keeps us from giving it 5 stars is the access to the hotel is quirky and only accessible with stairs. You have to carry your bags through a winding set of stairs and hallways to get to your room. All that said we would definitely stay here again."
