"I booked this lodge via VRBO as a mini break for my birthday with my 8 year old son. The VRBO website clearly stated that the lodge had a private hot tub, as did my booking confirmation. However, upon arrival I discovered that there was NO hot tub. The actual lodge was lovely but VRBO mis-advertised the property. "A great place to stay and a fantastic location for us , as it was very quiet and secluded. Checking out at 10am on departure day was not ideal , 12 noon would have been better. Booking through VRBO was a big mistake as they listed the lodge as having a Hot Tub , when in fact it didn’t have and the reception here could only apologise , as there was nothing they could do to help , because all the lodges were fully booked."

"The property was beautiful inside, really fresh and modern while providing all the essentials needed for a weekend away. I would 100% recommend this property if you are staying around the lakes. Showers were surprisingly powerful with good heat and beds were all comfortable. Gary was communicating with me clearly and was on hand for any questions. Will look to stay here again in the future."

"I could live here! The lodge was close to the entrance, but in a cul de sac, so felt really secluded. Used the hot tub daily, the water was checked twice daily, so felt very confident it was clean and safe. The food in the restaurant was excellent and had a superb Sunday lunch.
