  • Redwood Breakers Unit 27, Lot on a private end of cul-de-sac lot, framed by the beautiful hillside meadow and coastal forest. Redwood Breakers offers sweeping, private ocean views.

    The home includes two separate bedroom suites, each with their own private bathroom. Both bedroom suites offer king sized beds and large window seats. Bed linens and towels are included with this home. The primary bedroom features unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean, while the guest bedroom overlooks the adjacent redwoods. Both bathrooms are fully equipped with large showers, floor heating and towel warmers for your comfort. The spacious living area has commanding views of the ocean, is well-lighted and tastefully appointed.

    The home includes a remote-start gas fireplace, a 55" flat screen TV, a Blu-Ray/DVD Player and a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound system with built-in speakers. The gourmet kitchen has state-of-the-art GE appliances, a large central island, and enjoys beautiful ocean views.
    A private study is conveniently located off the main living area which features a large built-in desk and dual frosted glass French doors.
    The mud room has its own outdoor entry and features a full-size washer and dryer and a wine cooler.

    Exclusive outdoor living areas include a panoramic ocean view deck with a dining area, and an enclosed, beautifully manicured private Japanese front-entry garden with a patio area, hot tub, fountain and outdoor shower.

    Home amenities include free high-speed Internet, free domestic long distance phone service and Apple TV for streaming services. Families with children and pets are welcome. The house is steps nearby hiking trails. Beaches are on the west side of the Highway, a short drive down the hill. Only ONE dog allowed please. The garage is not available for renter use.

    Dogs must be leashed and cannot be left unattended.
    Maximum number of vehicles at house shall be 2 (two), parked in driveway. No RV's.

Fabulous!

Attention to detail, comfortable, beds were great, kitchen was exceptional and architecture was amazing. We have been coming to Sea Ranch since 1977, owned here for 10 yrs, and renting now when we come and this is the best house ever!

Two weeks in this architecturally beautiful house with beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean from most rooms … including the amazingly well appointed Kitchen … was a wonderful experience. The owners have beautiful art, rugs and an extensive library. There is a majestic Redwood forest behind the house that you get glimpses of from the clear story windows.The only downside is just some over due maintenance of a house that has been enjoyed by many. The Living Room furniture is worn out and not comfortable to sit on, the appliances are at the end of their life and the once beautiful garden is overgrown. All easy fixes. We still give our stay at Redwood Breakers five stars. The nice folks at Beach Rentals were great … clear and timely communication and happy to help in any way once we were there. Sea Ranch at it’s best! We will rent Redwood Breakers again.

We have been renting in Sea Ranch for almost 30 years and of all the houses we've been to, this is a real winner.It's on the hill and we had wonderful days looking at the view. It is really easy to get to the bluff trail both on foot and there are several access trails with parking.We've always travelled with a bag of kitchen supplies in the past because usually some things we want are not available, but this house has everything we needed. The hot tub in the fenced in front yard is great, the garden is beautiful and serene. The layout of the house is also great with high ceilings and lots of lights. The bathrooms are also very good (loved the skylight in the shower). We did not watch any movies,just listened to music (best soundbar ever)We always bring our dog, and he had a wonderful time too, especially using the trail close to the house to explore the forest.Last, but not least, Beach Rentals is awesome to work with: professional, responsive,and personable.We'll be back soon.

If you want NetFlix or Apple TV bring your own log-in credentials. Ant infestation is so bad you can’t leave anything on the kitchen counters. Learned the hard way when a box of 2 Fish pastries was overwhelmed 30 minutes after putting it down. Two lights in the great room burned out. Setting thermostat for heating needs instructions; none provided. Garden/courtyard needs attention; leaves on the ground got tracked everywhere.

Great location and view, excellent layout, furnishings and conveniences. Clean, well maintained and well-stocked. Good sound system and nice-sized TV with multiple streaming services, although sometimes a little tough to navigate. We'll be back.

Beautiful home, good distant ocean view, trees and hiking

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Redwood Breakers is a lovely home. Love the wood, high ceilings, openness and light, relatively up-to-update restrooms, kitchen, furnishings—towel warmers are nice too! Two master suites, one ocean view, one forest view, make it perfect for two couples (though ocean view room and bathroom are definitely nicer). Very well equipped kitchen for real cooking or baking should you want to do so and multiple options for making coffee. Hot tub is small, but OK for two. Enclosed courtyard is lovely, if a little overgrown—I would be afraid to use the firepit but we really wouldn’t have anyway. Dog-friendly is important to us, and having the courtyard meant we could leave the front door open for air and not worry about dogs escaping (we did not allow them to potty in the courtyard, but there is a wide sweeping meadow in front of the house). A hiking trail with access to hiking up the hill through the redwoods is on the same cul-de-sac, just a couple of doors away.Oceanfront is still our favorite, but in our 40+ years of renting at Sea Ranch, this is the nicest house we have rented on the east side of Highway One. Beautiful, expansive bluewater view lined by redwoods makes it work. A large deck, well-furnished, makes for nice outdoor dining or just relaxing to enjoy the view. This was our second time staying at Redwood Breakers. It was more expensive than other Oceanside homes we could have rented, but we decided the extra expense was worth it to return here. If you were ambitious, you could walk to the Bluff Trail from here for walks along the ocean, but we used our visitors pass to drive and park with easy access instead.
