This Sea Ranch vacation home offers guests dog-friendly accommodations and is close to the beach and playground, making it an ideal getaway for a family with younger children.

Situated in the heart of Sea Ranch, guests are about five miles from Gualala for grocery shopping, and about 55 miles from Mendocino. On-site, guests may enjoy a public golf course, a restaurant and gift shop in the Lodge, and access to numerous beaches. This rental, in fact, is just a short distance from Walk On Beach and Tide Pool Beach!

This 1,520 square-foot home is easy-going in its decor, with a classic lodge-feel, peaked ceilings, and plenty of nice art to admire. Windows are everywhere, maximizing the view of the surrounding swaying meadow grasses. You may even catch a glimpse of deer or foxes outside!

The living area is on the second floor so guests can fully enjoy the view and get the most light. Spread out over sofas and window seats while the stone-framed fireplace warms your toes. Though a flatscreen cable TV with a DVD player, and WiFi are provided, this is also the perfect time to unplug with a good book, a good board game, or good conversation.

Bring along your favorite recipes to recreate in this lovely kitchen, with major appliances done in black and plenty of counter space. Pop in a favorite CD for some meal ambiance as you gather in the dining room with spots for six at the table. A dishwasher helps take care of the clean-up.

This three-bedroom, two-bathroom rental can sleep six people comfortably with a king bed, a queen bed, and two twin beds. Relax in your own private meditation garden out back, which is fenced for privacy, and keep your packing light and fresh.

This is a great rental to enjoy as a family, since the One-Eyed Jack's Picnic Area and Playground is right across the street! Pack a picnic and watch your kids and family dog roll about in the grass (up to two dogs are welcome for an additional nightly fee).

The beach is just down the street for days spent admiring interesting rock formations and exploring tide pools. The Sea ranch Golf Links is a great place to spend the afternoon, with a Scottish links-style course and windswept landscaping. Dine at the the Sea Ranch Lodge and buy a sweatshirt to bring home, or spend a day hiking the bluffs and searching for pods of whales or herds of harbor seals.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
