"Parking very convenient"

"Quite the experience when it comes to hotels. Seems stuck in a time warp 20 years ago. Room was clean, bed was OK and the shower was good. Location next to the Lincoln bypass for a quick getaway was probably its most redeeming feature."

Check-in was confusing with key boxes on the wall for each room, but access is via the key coded digital front door lock. "The place was cute, and the neighbor was very kind, he came out to talk to us when we were trying to figure out parking the first night. The drive isn’t big enough for any car larger than a Mini, but there’s ample space for parking on the curb. The only real downside was the amount of bugs within the property. Any corner that was looked at held spiders of considerable size. I don’t recommend this place to anyone who’s as sensitive to those things as I am. We sat on the back porch the first night...

"A lovely comfortable bed in the room. It was nice and clean and the hotel was very quiet, despite other guests and diners there. The breakfast was delicious the next morning and the staff were so friendly and polite throughout our stay. Would highly recommend. A great place to stay and eat"

"Easy parking, friendly receptionist, She noted we came as a family and gave us interconnecting rooms without having to be asked, Extra Brownie points. The rooms were large and clean with excellent air conditioning. Good Continental breakfast at a reasonable price. The hotel is located in a good location and is reasonably priced. As a result I strongly recommend it."

"Our stay was very good. It was in the middle of the steep hill. So, was a minute walk from Lincoln castle. Around the hotel was lovely boutique shops and cafes. The a Hotel had a coffee shop that served lovely food. We would definitely return to Rest hotel. 😍"

"Great hotel, great location, great facilities (including their own carpark). The staff were excellent and extremely helpful and our room was more like a suite, with 2 pairs of veranda doors. My only slight disappointment was the breakfast. I had a full English and I’d obviously been cooked 15 minutes previously and kept under hot plate. "What a lovely place. A hidden gem! Such a good location, the staff were really friendly and the room was spacious. There is parking at The Lawns for £10.70 for 24 hours right next door. Very close to the castle, a short walk to the cathedral and lots to do nearby!"

"The location is excellent - so close to the castle and cathedral. There are two very good real ale pubs just down the road and plenty of restaurants nearby. We were lucky enough to get free parking the whole of the week. The weather was hot, so air-conditioning would have been nice, although its a listed building so probably a challenge."
