"I highly recommend this hotel based on staff, location, cleanliness and its great and safe walk ability. Also Cebo restaurant next door is excellent. I require fragrance free hypoallergenic room and it was all of that. Room was roomy with a great river view with sunrises. I will stay again when in Winnipeg."

"Hotel was being used as a housing unit for some misplaced individuals. We thought it would be fine so we proceeded with our stay at the hotel only to arrive and immediately ask that we be switched to a new hotel. Floors 1-9 were FULL, consequently could not use any of the amenities they had to offer us. We were escorted even in the elevators by security with random people running in and out of the building a very unsettling experience. Area around the hotel was not nice either. "

"There was an open soap bar left in the shower - makes you wonder if they cleaned the room. As well, the television was not working. We were unable to connect with the cable. "

"The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I had appointments at St Boniface hospital and it is walking distance to that. I was disappointed that there wasn't a microwave in the room. I had leftover from my lunch meal and I had to take it down to he front desk for them to heat. When I asked the girl why there wasn't a microwave she said that they offer 2 restaurants so she didn't see the need for microwaves. I'm not a fan of the rainhead shower which is what they have but that's just a personal preference. I would stay again only if I had early appointments at St. Boniface hospital."

"We love this hotel! It feels smaller and very service oriented. The staff were amazing! The Gold service was absolutely excellent with a wonderful breakfast each day and friendly and professional Concierge. The location of the Fairmont Winnipeg is also perfect for all sorts of walking or exploring cafes, bars and restaurants in the Exchange District. Love it!"
