This actually turned out to be advantageous for me as I was there for Wacken 2023 and they had moved camping to the airfield just down the road. There is very limited food and other services here but Hohenlockstedt is not too far. Staff were very friendly and accommodating for my stay."

Big beaches are also very close to the city. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need from kitchenware. It suits well to a family of two adults and two children like us, and is spacious inside while there also is a large garden. The hosts are very nice and helpful."
