We were concerned about the shared bathroom that was mentioned in our room type but the room had its own bathroom which was great.
The room was small but it did not miss anything we needed for out one night stay (fridge, microwave, working TV).
Location excellent - walkable to the beach and downtown. Perfect.
Washroom - shower was not clean before we stayed. A lot of hair stuck to drain. Disgusting.
Room was just "sufficient", was clean, AC worked, roughly up kept, bare minimum. The one set of hooks in the bathroom were not attached, fell down... Half the room got covered in water when the shower was used, despite efforts to keep the curtain in place.
Very minimal parking, not enough for all guests.
Could have used some drinking cups, was nice to have a microwave and fridge, but had to run out for glasses.
Was ok for this visit, but without more updated work would not return.
Impossible to justify this flop house as a motel!!! Staff need hotelier training. The owner is turning rooms into monthly cheap rents for "locals". There is no breakfast provided which is strange considering there is a dining room - and the "owners" run a fish and chip restaurant at this location. It was a lovely old quaint hotel close to a beach. At least it used to be clean. Bedding was well used and not spotless - no mattress cover in one case. It's finished as a motel.

Clean room, comfortable bed, easy to walk/drive everywhere, quiet street, great restaurant (Duffy’s)
A short walk to the main beach and also to main street shopping. Large mature trees provides shade on hot summer days. Duffy's Fish and Chips Restaurant on-site has a good menu and excellent food.
This place is ridiculously overpriced. It should be $120 -150 a night . It has a lot of potential, but it seems the owners could not care less. I know one couple left soon after arrival. There are a number of cottages nearby to stay in which offer better value
The restaurant below is in fact very good and even has live entertainment
I needed just a bed for the night. It suits my needs. The room is small in comparison to other hotels I've been in but when u consider the type of place and location it makes sense. It has got an onsite pizza place and another burger joint, so dont have to travel.far for food.
The beach is like a 5 minute walk!
Cute older oroperty that has been renovated.Rooms were super clean and comfortable.Few minutes walk to beach.Fish and chips restaurant attached.Good vslue.

This is an older property with a Lot of potential. The rooms were clean, my bed was comfy and because it was not a hot night the rooms were cool because it has no air conditioning. But my room was only $125.00 a night so a good deal if just passing through. However, you do not get the shampoos etc that you find in higher end hotels either. Not a problem. But can I get a drinking glass of any type in my room? Hydration and oral hygiene is not negotiable!
My biggest issue however was this. I am a serious cyclist, both speed and endurance (distance). I contacted them when I reserved telling them that I travelled with a high end bike and asked if I could get secure storage for the bike or I would find someplace else. I realize not everyone place can accommodate this. They assured me I could take the bike to the room. Well the room turned out to be on the second floor with a winding narrow staircase. Impossible. I was forced to leave the bike chained to an outdoor railing. Not happy!! Though nothing came of this, I was left feeling of betrayed over my request. Based on the lack of hydration options and that my only request was really not honoured. I would not stay here again.
4 of us stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage which was very nicely decorated. The unit had a full kitchen and queen size beds were firm but comfy. Lots of pillows which was nice too!! Most places do not have enough pillows.
The kitchen was stocked with all of the dishes and cooking equipment needed. There was even a fresh tin of coffee! The only thing missing were some coffee filters.
The beach is within easy walking distance. The little restaurant and covered patio was also nice. Even live music on the weekends.
We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!
Several years ago a relative loved this place hence the reason for coming. It is in a good location with lovely back yard but now it needs major TLC and updating. Room very small. Picture online shows a table and 2 chairs in the room but none in ours. Not sufficient plugs for electrical charging. There was no bedside lamp.

The check in was smooth and quick. The room's AC didn't work, it operates as a fan only. Thank you for the fan instead.
The main reason we give a low rating is that the inn advertised that the breakfast is included in the stay. We found out only at the inn that the breakfast is no longer included. We could have picked another place if we would have know this in advance. Michelle said that she mentioned to Expedia to take the "breakfast included" option down several times and nothing was done. Not sure if it is Expedia's fault or Windspire's Inn fault. The restaurant next door doesn't offer breakfast either. There is quite a walk to the closest Tim Hortons, so at least a coffee maker in the room would have been appreciated.
This place is a great place to stay for a B&B. Our room was big with 2 queen beds, a full bathroom and a door to lead outside to a huge courtyard/backyard.
The backyard had lots of space for seating ,it has a fire pit and bbq.
The lobby is very quiet and love the old fashioned furniture with a hint of new stuff. They have a sitting area where you can visit or do work. Attached to that is a nice breakfast area. The breakfast area is set where they could serve a hot breakfast along side the typical cold cereals, oatmeal, yogurt, bananas, and breads. They also had coffee and juice. There was what looked like an old bar which if they sprucced it up and got an liquor license it could bring in more revenue and give the guests a nice relaxing drink. The inn is a 5 min walk to the beach and boat docks.
The beds were comfortable and rooms were clean, mind you they could've cleaned under the beds a bit better and night table as we found an entire full sized lemon behind the lamp table lol , gave our family a laugh.
All in all , it is a great place to stay and we definitely would consider staying here again.

-The room has microwave and fridge
-Good location,near the beach
-Easy check-in/check-out
-wifi

-has a restaurant
Cons:
-Room was smelly
-Bathroom needed improvement
-bed linens were not clean

This place is ok for a one night if all you care is a place to sleep. But I find it too pricy for what it is. It is a very small room with all your basic needs, nothing fancy.
