"Our stay was relaxing, and they let our small dog stay too, which was great. We didn't eat dinner there because they won't let dogs in the restaurant or bar, even on the outdoor patios. The pool and hot tub and sauna area was great. The hot tub could be a little hotter, but still very enjoyable. They closed these at 9pm instead of 11pm like it says in all the literature and signage. We did eat breakfast at the hotel restaurant. It was good, but very expensive for what we had, and apparently coffee refills aren't included so we ended up with $18 on the receipt for drip coffees... We found a super nice little waterfront restaurant, Azure Pier, within easy walking distance, and they were very welcoming for us and the dog on their outdoor patio with a gorgeous view, highly recommended for dinner!"

"This has to be the nicest, cleanest, friendliest place I have stayed. From checking in, to getting "breakfast to go" on Sunday night before us leaving at 3:30 AM for our flight... the staff was great! The in-room iron and ironing board were much appreciated as my dress pants were quite wrinkled in the suitcase. The only thing I can suggest is to have a blow dryer in the room. Our stay was great and I will be staying at this hotel again!!"

"We had such a wonderful stay at Poets Cove on Pender Island. The facilities were fantastic, with everything we could have wanted for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. The views from the balconies were absolutely beautiful, and having easy access to the beach, outdoor pools and gym made the stay even more special. One of the highlights was being able to sit out on the balcony in the evening and watch the deer lay sleeping on the hot tub cover and the otters playing in the small waterfall. It was such a peaceful and memorable experience, and a real bonus to have nature right outside our door. We also loved the spa. It was incredibly relaxing, and there never seemed to be too many people using it, which made it feel calm and peaceful. Poets Cove is a beautiful place to unwind, and we would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing island escape."

"Good place to stop over before the ferry, or needing to be near Vancouver. Great price, friendly welcome, beautiful walks nearby. Room was spacious; not elegant - more like a cottage, but just fine for our needs. Expect to go back."
