"Hotel was well-located in Lucca and while our room was relatively small, the staff cleaned multiple times per day, so room was spotless. Excellent daily breakfast was included, so the price was extremely fair. There were bikes available to use and the staff was helpful despite my poor Italian language skills and their limited English (some were more proficient than others). Overall, other than the on site hot tub being not very hot, and a minor issue with the shower in our bathroom, the stay was certainly well worth the price charged. They also offer an array of complementary snacks/soft drinks each afternoon, which was a very nice touch."

"Hotel Dapinto is a quiet hotel in a great location in Lucca. Breakfast was just ok, we were rushed from our table to make room for other guests. This was not typical in Italy at all. The room was clean. We could not get the AC to work but to be fair, we never reported it as we only stayed one night. "

"Massimo’s villa was absolutely lovely! The views from the property were spectacular. The home is well equipped for all your needs during your stay. Massimo was a fantastic host. He was very responsive and had plenty of suggestions on getting around and where to eat. If you need anything, he will take care of it for you.We had a great time while staying at his property!Lucca is such a cool city. It has all of the charm that you expect in Italy without the big crowds. "
