"Stayed here 3. Nights prior to a cruise and enjoyed the rooftop, including live music, the lobby bar, the thermal pool in the lower level and even had one of the best deep tissue massages I’ve ever had. Due to congestion and construction on La Rambla we did have challenges with a couple taxis. But this location was easily walkable down to Barceloneta beach and to the Flamenco show we had booked. Had dinner at a restaurant around the corner and it was superb. Staff were friendly and helpful with all our questions. Highly recommend Hotel 1898!"

"We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The room was exactly as described. The pool area was nicer than expected. Some people think the area is too small, but there are sunbeds below the pool, with lovely views out to see. There is also a couple of bars on the roof. It is also worth visiting the lobby bar on the first floor of the hotel. It was peaceful and cool (temperature). The hotel is in a great location for exploring Barcelona, but it was also very peaceful. My only issue was, it was very hot and the air conditioning wasn't as affective as required. I would however stay again. Really enjoyed it. "

"BAH is not like a normal Airport Hotel, in as such it has a the vibe of a quiet holiday hotel. From a quiet room to a well equipped gym and even a large swimming pool. Add this to very good restaurants and situated in a quiet area BAH is a very good quiet and accommodating hotel. Out of the way of busy Barcelona, although approx. 20 mins in a cab if you wish to visit Barca, whilst only approx. 5 mins from Barcelona T1 and T2 Airport Terminals. Would use again. "

"This was the perfect place to end our 3 week backpacking trip in Europe. Close to the airport, beautiful beach within walking distance, comfortable rooms with great Aircon, food at the restaurant was delicious, and the shop had everything we could need, Friendly staff that helped us arrange our taxis. Will definitely be back!"
