Ideal para uns dias desligados e de descanso. A piscina e o relvado enorme foi uma delícia para os pequenos! Adoramos cada momento! "This property was such a perfect relaxing escape for us. The grounds were beautiful with grapevines, vegetables, fruits, and stunning flowers we were able to enjoy this spring. Guillermina and her family made sure we had everything we needed and answered our questions quickly . She gave us great recommendations for shops and and restaurants. The views were breathtaking, their wine delicious and the pool was gorgeous. We feel so lucky to have spent April at Quinta da Portinha"

"The chalet is located in a smalll hamlet, at the end of a stony road. It is well equipped and had all we needed for our short stay. It is full of 'souvenirs', objects, books, pictures, which gives it a very homelike feeling. We enjoyed the outside terrace with its table and bbq, as well as the outside sofa. "We had a fabulous time at casa do Monte! The villa is perfect for large families, well equipped and the grounds are beautiful. Marcus was very accommodating and even arranged for us to have a traditional Portuguese BBQ. I highly recommend this villa."

"We loved this house and the region - from the moment we arrived to be met by the owner's daughter and husband and the gorgeous Tutti, the golden retriever, to the last moments saying goodbye to the gracious owner Renato we had the most idyllic holiday. The house is an architectural gem with light flooding every space and allowing easy access to the gorgeous pool and sunbathing area and garden - we even had garage door envy! It is very secluded but close enough to lovely local villages and towns...

"Magical!Wonderful location. The surroundings of the house are lovely with so many nice corners to enjoy. The house is fully equipped - everything you need for cooking or anything else - you will find it. Above all great support from Guihermina and her staff. We had a lovely stay. "

"The vineyard is truly beautiful. The scenery is outstanding and really adds the the luxurious feeling of this hotel. The bed was enormous, it was like having a whole double bed each. The food selection on breakfast and evening was good and not overly expensive. The only complaint would be the wait time on drinks by the pool, there was only one staff member to make drinks and sort food orders so we were often waiting a long time for drinks. This was pacified by having two pools to cool off in and lounge by. I’d absolutely stay again. "

"Beautiful property in the beautiful Douro Valley with a nice pool. There is no winery on site, but it is in the middle of beautiful vineyards. You can go down the road to Pinhao or to St. Eufemia Winery for a tour. Breakfast was great and the staff was very accomodating. Great price for a beautiful stay. The property would benefit from some more outdoor leisure areas to sit peacefully and enjoy the view other than the balcony of your room or the pool/deck. Lenore at the desk was very nice and very helpful."
