"This property was such a perfect relaxing escape for us. The grounds were beautiful with grapevines, vegetables, fruits, and stunning flowers we were able to enjoy this spring. Guillermina and her family made sure we had everything we needed and answered our questions quickly . She gave us great recommendations for shops and and restaurants. The views were breathtaking, their wine delicious and the pool was gorgeous. We feel so lucky to have spent April at Quinta da Portinha"

"The chalet is located in a smalll hamlet, at the end of a stony road. It is well equipped and had all we needed for our short stay. It is full of 'souvenirs', objects, books, pictures, which gives it a very homelike feeling. We enjoyed the outside terrace with its table and bbq, as well as the outside sofa. The view from the balcony is beautiful. Note that the seventh bed is in the corridor. The rooms are small but fine with good bedding. We had a nice time hiking around the area, enjoying the...

"Despite a bit of an issue with check in, the property was lovely. Lots of space. Very well appointed and a quick walk to downtown and restaurants via a shortcut over the train track. My husband and I were traveling with two grown sons, so it was nice to have 3 bedrooms."

"When we arrived at the property, Carmen and her lovely dogs welcomed us with open arms. It's located about 30 minutes from Porto and if you seek for peace and quit it's the best place to stay. The huge garden is so adorable. We enjoyed it a lot. Carmen is a very open-minded and friendly host. We will come back for sure. :-)"

"This was seriously one of our best experiences ever. Victor was the best host and communicated with us from the very beginning ensuring our stay was smooth and comfortable throughout. On arrival he even made sure we got our dinner from a local restaurant making a request for them to make food for us after they were closed for the day. He and Paula made sure we were well taken care of. Paula even brought fresh picked apples for us! The view is gorgeous and the place is unbelievable. Thanks for a lifetime of an experience, Victor. We are very grateful. We take back memories of a lifetime "
