"I highly recommend Pink Flamingo Hotel Kilimanjaro Tanzania. Leondro & Teresa are fantastic hosts. I was met by Leondro at 2am with a warm smile huge handshake and drink offers. True professionalism. They treated me like royalty for the entire time. The facilities are excellent, rooms exceptionally clean and very good size. There are Great outdoor & pool(s) areas. The bar - It’s a virtual bar. As the staff will give you a list where ever you are. Food times are when you need and very good food. I loved it so much I am going back in a month. Thank you Leondro (Apologies if I have that spelling incorrect) and Teresa. Your staff are ever attentive and polite . "Amazing property, great customer service, awesome calming river behind our back door, delicious food (sooo good), and a pool with monkey's swinging around in the trees above. I liked that they don't have tv, I was able to rejuvenate and get work done in a serene environment. Highly recommended!"

"The views of Mt Meru and the surrounding bush country were magnificent. The grounds include banana, papaya, mango, pineapple and avocado plants/trees, all of which enhance the experience. The staff were extremely attentive and polite. All speak English. We loved the food so much my wife wanted to bring the chef home (joking of course, but high praise). The lodge staff were trained as part of a program to provide a good livelihood to local residents who otherwise would have limited opportunities. While the lodge is remote (not in Arusha city), it is close to Arusha National Park, and lodge staff will provide driving tours (for extra cost), which is well worth it."
