Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Goa

"Had a few teething problems but once flagged these were addressed (room not really as advertised. Partial sea view was essentially garden view). Not sure this hotel lives up to the quality we had at two other Taj resorts before arriving here. Onsite restaurants are fairly average so would recommend heading out for dinner to nearby local places for better cuisine and much more reasonable pricing. Eg first night there, only 2 families in their signature restaurant were dining so there was no ambience. They had one bottle of white wine in the whole restaurant (ie nothing from the menu). This was flagged the next day and we were told would be addressed but we only ate once more in the restaurant after that. The rooms are a little dated but the overall resort is really nice. Pool area is great, lots of space and sun beds. Overall, enjoyed our stay but next time would probably try elsewhere"

"We stayed here for 5 nights. It’s a beautiful resort, well maintained, nice pool bar and very good restaurants. The spa amenities were great and beach is just a 5 minute walk where you can relax with a cold drink at the starfish beach shack! And the best part is the stuff, super friendly and helpful, would definitely come back!"

"Facilities were good, clean rooms. Short walk to the beach. Cleanliness of the tables in the restaurant was not great (placemats were stained from previous guests and never saw anyone clean the tables with disinfectant between sittings). Would recommend getting breakfast early as when we went late we noticed that some food items were running low and not always topped up."

"I liked the overall stay very helpful staff and well maintained property. Breakfast was excellent we had good breakfast so that we can have a light lunch. Swimming pool was nicely maintained and all amenities was good. As they have buggy service to the banolim Beach till 6 pm in evening you have very good access to the beach as well to enjoy the evening sunset. Overall very satisfied with the stay"

"Staff were highly responsive to our needs and very helpful. Not everyone’s names are known but the accommodation manager Sylvester was exceptionally helpful as was Lita at Check out and hotel management. Pool is very nice as is the beach. WiFi can be difficult to connect to but once connected is very good. There are two restaurants, one North Indian and a larger restaurant where breakfasts and dinner are served. Food is good in both though waiting times in the Seagull restaurant can be long. If going for breakfast I would recommend going in the earlier hours to get a table quickly. Spa is good and the people are friendly. It is a very good location for families with small children and it is very clean. Good value for money and highly recommended."

"Stayed in lovely beach front accommodation with outside area with sun beds, parasol and bath. Restaurant offers good choice of food and cocktails with friendly, helpful staff. Good location on nice beach. "
