Bandelier National Monument preserves the homes and territory of the Ancestral Pueblo People. Most of the pueblo structures date to two eras, in total from 1150 to 1600. It was once inhabited by the ancient Puebloans (incorrectly known as the Anasazi), the ancestors of some of the modern-day Native American pueblos of northern New Mexico. For some unknown reason, probably related to drought and decline in agriculture, the Puebloans abandoned this site, but the area is still honored by the present-day Pueblo people. #hiking

"Cute place but very dim inside. Need to buy insurance in order to stay here as everything is so fragile. Would not recommend for family with small children as too many rules and stairs are steep and slippery. Shower cute but not feel safe and no vanity in restroom. Definitely feels more like you’re roughing it rather than staying in a VRBO. Says pet friendly and did not mention about a fee before hand but got a request after checking in for a 50 pet fee."

"This was one of the best properties we’ve ever rented. Trung’ home has the views, beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable and had tons of room to spread out. It also has unique amenities, a hot tub, barrel sauna, fire pit , a game room and more. Only 10min away from the Santa Fe Plaza. The house so much extra touch put into it. The house has swamp coolers, which is okay, it just got pretty warm at night with no actual air conditioning. Great stay

"Decor was beautiful, room was clean. Safe location. There was no microwave in the room but there was a mini fridge. Breakfast burritos were good. A bit nicer than a couple I have stayed at in the area. No pool but small work out room"
