"The hotel's public areas and room were clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was included and was rich in variety. The dinner dishes were very good too. The value for money of this hotel is excellent."

"This is a beautiful hotel with attentive and caring staff. We felt extremely well taken care during our stay - the staff were so accommodating - helping us find restaurants and arranging transportation. The hotel itself is munificent with large comfortable rooms and well-designed public spaces. And, there was a free chocolate tasting in the lobby on the evenings that we were there! It is also conveniently located a short walk from restaurants, shopping, and plazas. While it's always important to stay aware of your surroundings - we felt very safe in this neighborhood. One thing to keep in mind - this is a festive part of town, so occasionally the roads around the hotel were shut down to accommodate bikers and street parties. This part of the charm of the experience; but it also sometimes made transportation to/from the hotel a bit challenging (but not terribly so) . Overall, we couldn't have been happier about our stay here and would absolutely stay again when we are back in Quito. Highly recommended!"

"This property was so welcoming from the minute we walked in. Easy taxi service, personable staff, delicious breakfast. We had an early tour to catch and they opened the breakfast early for us. Very clean room, hot shower. Lots of restaurants around and a 3 minute walk to Quito’s historic centre. "

"The Good - location, location, location, In the heart of central Quito with a nice grocery store two doors up the street and a decent one across the street, and plenty of good restaurants close by, Room was spacious, had a mini-fridge, an outside patio area, and a central courtyard with seats, tables, sofas and such. The Bad - Not for mobility impaired as there is no elevator. The Ugly - no parking and street parking is often unavailable. If uou want a Hilton or Hyatt type hotel, you will not like the hotel. But, if you want kind of a funky, relaxed, cool experience, you will like it."
