"The property is really unique and we loved our stay in our cottage. We wish there was better communication from the property, especially for check-in, as well as more availability for the "front-desk" which was never open while we were there. It would be helpful if the property provided some type of guidebook (e.g. do we need to recycle? What do we need to do with garbage before we leave?). "Het hotel wordt met liefde gedreven. We voelden ons welkom en kregen een uitgebreide rondleiding waarin met trots werd over verleden en heden werd verteld. De kamers zijn schoon en comfortabel. Het ontbijt is uitmuntend met zelfgemaakte yoghurt, jam en cake. Lokale kazen, heerlijk brood en scrambled eggs maakten het compleet. Wij komen zeker terug"

Amazing!!
"The views were absolutely amazing…Mt Pico in the distance, sunsets and beautiful views of the ocean. Walk down to the beach took us by beautiful flowers, adorable cows and the friendliest donkey. Beds were comfortable, showers great and a stocked kitchen. We loved the location. Helena…was amazing. She provided a warm smile upon arrival, invited us to the village festival and meal, educated us on history of the island and when we had to leave festival before they distributed the holy cakes, she had one waiting at the house for us. Pico is an amazing place and can’t recommend a visit more and do yourself a favor…stay in this beautiful house. We hope to return one day."
