"I had booked a loft room for 3 through Expedia. When I arrived I was told only 2 persons for the room. They were kind enough to put us in a rental apt. with 2 bedrooms and kitchenette for the same price. This is an inexpensive option to be downtown."

Santiago was a short stop after our cruise and before flying home. We enjoyed walking in the parks and museum visits. We saw a little more defacing of the buildings from the student unrest than we expected.

People we encountered were friendly and helpful especially with us not fluent in Spanish. We would like to return and see more of Santiago. Did visit the Railway Museum Santiago (Chile) and enjoyed that very much.
