Surroundings

Salom Verd is a unique house on a former farm, now all the breeding and reviving dedicated to the Majorcan breed. It is a wonderful place to enjoy a memorable vacation. The house is surrounded by nature, embedded in a really quiet countryside and only 2 Km from the small village of Es Llombards. The picturesque village offers two cafes, a bakery and two restaurants. Santanyí, a typical Majorcan town with a beautiful, well-preserved city center is located at 4 km. Here it can be undisturbed stay by cars in one of the cafes and restaurants, children's play late into the night on the Plaza and trendy allure to quality apparels for shopping the boutiques. Saturdays and Wednesdays will be held a well-attended weekly market between the old city walls and the church. Here locals meet to shop for fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as German residents and vacationers. Laterally, the historic church crafts is offered. In about 10 minutes drive by car to Cala Santanyí can be reached as a popular beach to visit with children and the beautiful beach of Cala Llombards.

The house

The old farmhouse has been completely renovated and transformed into a luxurious modern villa with 130m2 floor area. The house is high quality and tastefully furnished. A more than 200 years old door welcomes the visitor. From the entrance hall leads to a bright, open living and dining area and an open kitchen. The living and dining area comes up with an Italian teak designer table, methacrylate chairs and comfortable sofas. The whole area is flooded with light, without heat from sunlight (special glass) and gives a fantastic view of the surrounding area to lying in the distance the city Santanyí. Large sliding glass doors leading to the front terrace. From the dining area leads to the open and high-quality equipped kitchen. The house comprises two double bedrooms. One with Walk-Inn-en suite shower room and access to the rear covered terrace, the other with en-suite bathroom and access to the front terrace.

The house is fully equipped with air conditioning cold / warm with fixed and limited operating time.

The horses are not available for riding.

Outside

The outdoor area is beautiful and spacious, to walk around with a lot of space; a idaler place around the dark winter days to forget and enjoy the lush nature. The house is on a 100 000m2 plot with fig trees, carob trees, palm trees and young olive trees and is completely fenced with old stone walls. Through the entrance you pass arrives at the stables to the house with a landscaped and planted with grass front yard. From here you have a wonderful view of the surroundings and the stables with the horses, which have large exercise areas. A covered terrace is located on the back of the house with a brick barbecue; Perfect for a meal in the open air. A brick of natural stone rainwater catch basin that was formerly used for irrigation of the yard, now serves as a tastefully landscaped pool (8 x 4m Depth: 1-1 80m.) Which is operated with salt water electrolysis plant and not chlorine-based. Pool with sun terrace and safety glass border. At the end of the house is an outside toilet and a washing machine.

Die regelmäßigen - auch zu ungewöhnlichen Tageszeiten - Besuche der Pferdezüchter irritieren. Die Gartenarbeiten immer Samstag lassen die Privatsphäre nahezu erlöschen - echt nervig. Objekt ist insgesamt in die Jahre gekommen.

Tolle Lage, ordentliches Haus

Schönes Haus, gute Lage, freundliches Garten/ Pferdepersonal. Leider fehlt es bei einigen Kleinigkeiten. Sehr mäßige (Bad) und ungemütliche Innenbeleuchtung (Wohnräume) nicht ordentlich funktionierende Kaffeemaschine und (rostige), sehr schlecht spülende Spülmaschine. Diese Geräte sollten vor der nächsten Saison ersetzt werden... Leider sind die Betten/Matratzen auch etwas schwierig für 2 Erwachsene... Ansonsten gerne wieder...!

Wundervolles Haus in toller Lage mit exzellentem Pool

Wir durften 9 Tage in diesem wundervollen Haus verbringen. Der Standard des Hauses sowie die Ausstattung lassen keine Wünsche offen. Die Lage sehr nah zu Santanyi, Ses Salines sowie diversen schönen Buchten ist ideal. Der Pool und das Sonnendeck ist traumhaft. Nichts zu meckern...

Wunderschönes Haus mit kleinen Defiziten

Das Haus ist wirklich schön und für 4 Pers. genau richtig. Allerdings lässt die Ausstattung der Küche zu wünschen übrig. Basics, wie z.B. Ein Korkenzieher oder ein Spüllappen wären schön gewesen. Auch finde ich, dass man Toilettenpapier zur Verfügung stellen könnte, kostet ja nicht die Welt.... Desweiteren könnte man in Zeiten von Ikea auch für scharfe Messer oder ein paar mehr Handtücher sorgen. Die Klimaanlage ist super , allerdings sind die nächtlichen Intervalle zu kurz. Man muss um 4 Uhr morgens aufstehen um die Tür zu öffnen , da sie sich dann abschaltet. Auch das Aussenlicht hat eine komische Zeitschaltung. Vor 21.00h sitzt man leider im Dunkeln. Der Pool ist schön und erfrischend . Wir würden wiederkommen , denn die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit hat uns überzeugt.
