About this property

BEACHFRONT Tommy Bahama Unit with Sunset Views!

  • This beautiful Gulf-front complex has everything you and your family need for the perfect beach vacation. Our building named, Blue Mountain Beach Condominiums is right on the beach with private boardwalk and uncrowded private beacbh. The interior common space of the building was completely renovated in 2019 with updated decor, new elevators and updated flooring throughout. Our condo is on the 4th (and top) floor providing views of the Gulf and the iconic 30A sunsets.
Centrally located just one block south of Scenic Highway 30A and smack in the middle of Destin and Panama City Beach, abundant food and activities are at your disposal. Most important, you are literally steps away from the beach!

Blue Mountain Beach Condominium is a very quiet 48 unit complex nestled between two non-rental subdivisions. Take the elevator down to the pool and hot tub and our private boardwalk to the condo's private beach area. For a change of scenery, take a leisurely stroll to Blue Mountain Creamery to beat the heat with a cone of ice cream, or drive 10-15 minutes east to explore Seaside, Watercolor, and Grayton Beach and the new outdoor food hall and family entertainment plaza, The Big Chill. We are also a short drive to Baytowne Wharf, Silver Sands Outlet Mall, Destin Commons, and Pier Park shopping and dining complex in Panama City Beach. This offers a grand variety of shopping, dining, and recreation to choose from for everyone in the family.

Our 4th floor (#423), three-bedroom, three-bath condo has a great, tropical 'Tommy Bahama' style and is beautifully decorated for your comfort. The rental fee includes a 2 chair & 1 umbrella/table beach setup. Additional chairs and umbrellas may be rented directly on the beach. Our beach service also offers a bonfire set up right on the beach.
The unit boasts 1650 square feet of living area in addition to a 400 square foot balcony with great Gulf views. This is the perfect floor plan with a large living, dining, and kitchen area for entertaining the entire group, and still offers privacy to the bedroom areas with a split bedroom design. The master suite has a private balcony, jacuzzi bath with double vanities, and a walk-in shower. The other two bedrooms are located on the opposite side of the unit with the queen bedroom having sliding door access to the main balcony with views and a private bath. The 3rd bedroom has twin beds (soon to be updated with two twin BUNK BEDS) and hall bathroom access. A large screen TV is located in the living room and a DVD player is in the twin bedroom. All rooms have ceiling fans. The private balcony is the perfect place to dine, relax with a good book, or experience the breathtaking sunsets.

The building of Blue Lupine offers many amenities including elevators located at each end of the complex for easy access from the main glass-enclosed lobby, and the gated garage area, high-speed wireless internet service available throughout the building, a fully equipped exercise gym located on the 3rd floor, and a large Gulf front heated community pool and hot tub are situated on the bluff overlooking the beaches. Also, there are 2 community gas grills available to owners and guests located just outside of the glass-enclosed lobby. Each condo entrance accesses the individual condos from the interior 50' atrium which is tropically landscaped and decorated. There is on-site security during the high traffic season, and on-site maintenance is available for emergencies throughout the year from Tuesday through Saturday from 7 AM to 3 PM.

Most of all, take time to relax and enjoy the ambiance of the area. Scenic Highway 30A parallels 18 miles of paved bike path that encourages you and your family to explore the many unique beach communities along the way. Bring your own bikes or take advantage of the bike rental shops in the area. The Beaches of South Walton have beautiful sugar-white sandy beaches, emerald green waters, and rare coastal dune lakes which have made us the desirable vacation paradise we are famous for today.

We welcome you to visit our area for your next vacation 'getaway' and look forward to having you as our guest. Thank you so much for visiting our web page, and we are ready to answer any of your questions and/or concerns regarding our condo and the area. Please check our calendar for availability and book your reservation!

We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return! Cassie was fantastic to work with—communication was excellent before and throughout our stay, and she was always quick to respond. The condo was spacious and comfortably accommodated our group of five adults. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. We also appreciated having access to two Weber gas grills and a Blackstone grill. The amenities were outstanding. There were always plenty of chairs available at the pool, and the private beach was just a short, easy walk away. The beach chair setup was a great convenience, and the crystal-clear water was beautiful. Since it's a private beach, it never felt overcrowded, which made for a very relaxing experience. The fitness center was well appointed with treadmills, an elliptical, free weights, and weight machines. For those who prefer outdoor exercise, there's also a nearby walking path that's perfect for walking or running.Parking was convenient with one space in the parking garage. If you have a second vehicle, there is additional parking available in the lot outside the condo.Overall, this property exceeded our expectations and provided everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable vacation. Highly recommend!

Great Unit, Great location!

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. They thought of everything to make our stay easy and comfortable. The location is great, between individual homes so the beach is not super crowded (as can be seen just a little bit east on the beach)! The pool, the common areas, the storage area with all the extras (floats, chairs, toys, boards, umbrellas) were all top notch and well cared for! The unit itself was so clean and sooo comfortable. The Blue Mountain Beach area might have just earned visitors for life! We just loved our whole experience!

I was not the actual person staying in the condo. My boss and her family stayed there while she attended a judicial conference in San Destin. I am the person responsible for booking her travel. I was in communication with her the entire time and she raved about the condo! They thoroughly enjoyed their stay!!

Great communication from the owner. My son and 4 month old grandbaby got there early and were able to check in early (they planned several extra hours of drive time with a newborn and didn't end up needing to stop that much). The pool and hot tub were great. I love Blue mountain condos. It's not too packed, and the private beach is awesome!!! Beds were comfy. Great stock of things in the kitchen. They now have a blackstone grill outside by the propane grills which is great because I started a fire on one of the propane grills in the past and so I was scared to cook my jalapeno poppers with bacon on the propane grill...so having the blackstone was perfect!!!

Had a great time staying here with our daughter and her family.

This condo has a great view and we loved the large balcony! It is on the top floor of this 4 story complex, so you can see over the houses in the neighborhood next door. With only 48 units, the pool and beach area were not overly crowded - even the last week of June! Will definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this beautiful and amazingly clean condo. The owner has been a pleasure to deal with and obviously takes great pride in her condo. This is the nicest and cleanest unit we've ever had the pleasure of staying in. 30A is a great area and we'll definitely be back.

Beautiful Condo on a fantastic beache beachh

Our family stayed at this beautiful condo. The Condo itself was very nice, well maintained, and well stocked and plenty large enough for all 7 of us. The east and west views of the beach from the balcony were incredible. The beach chair rentals were easy and we even rented a kayak. We had a great vacation Thank you for sharing your condo.

Grandkids 1st beach vacation

Excellent communication from the host from 1st inquiry - very clear and easy check in and check out information. This unit was beautiful, cozy, and clean. The beach was amazing! Nathan, the beach chair guy was kind and charming. The grandkids enjoyed playing with the beach toys, riding the waves and building sand castles. We cooked most meals and appreciated the well stocked/organized kitchen. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this rental. Be sure to stop at the South Walton Visitor Center at the beginning of your stay for great info, places to eat and things to see and do.

An Oasis at the beach!

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend at this property this past weekend. In addition to the condo being absolutely beautiful, it is in a great location and the building has everything you could ask for. The owner was very easy to work with and answered all of the questions I had prior to our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets and towels were very rich and luxurious! The kitchen is large with everything we needed to cook almost all of our meals easily. The view from the balcony is amazing. You can see the ocean change throughout the day and enjoy beautiful sunsets. A wonderful, wonderful get away for us. We will be back!

Spacious, balconies, direct beach access

The unit is very spacious, with an easy stroll to the pool and the beach! The location on the beach was fantastic! Our section (of the beach) was not crowded; not any day and there was never more than 2 rows of chairs/umbrellas. The beach service guys were great, too! They were polite and welcoming. I also appreciated the kitchen having plenty of cookware, flatware, and both a single serve keurig and the option to make a full pot of coffee! I like staying in for breakfast, so this kitchen was a plus for me. My family and I had a wonderful vacation and I can’t thank the owner enough for sharing her home with us!

We spent a great family vacation/July 4th celebration at this condo. It more than accommodated our family of 4 adults and 2 children. There was a small issue with our building access code when we arrived but was resolved within 10 minutes. Communication with the owner was excellent. The condo had everything we needed needed and the complimentary beach chairs and umbrella were a definite plus. The condo and property very clean and had great security. We hope to return next year.

Nice place

Overall great place and beautiful view. The only downside was the main entrance to the patio (the only reason we chose this place and the best part about this place) was not working. The sliding door was broken - we were made aware the night we arrived. We were told that somebody would contact us to let us know when to expect repair during our stay (long weekend), but nobody contacted us. I tried calling and emailing the owner to see what the deal was, but was not called back until we had checked out (she said some other lady was supposed to call). Like I said, beautiful place and I highly recommend.....we were just inconvenienced with the broken door to the best part of the condo and still paid full price.

Lovely condo

We enjoyed our stay and would return! The condo was lovely and had everything needed, including a Keurig. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evening. Even though this condo unit is not right on the beach, we could hear the waves and see some of the ocean. We were pleased that chairs & umbrellas could easily be rented and reserved for each day. The only downsides were poor phone coverage in & around the building, as well as a crowded beach. The condo complex is located directly next to a neighborhood of large homes; 15 or so are beachfront. The beach in front of those homes is marked private and was practically empty. Meanwhile, chairs were packed at least three rows deep in front of our condo complex. While we understand beaches can be designated as private by Florida law, it seemed silly that so much nearby beach was unused while we were crammed into a much smaller area.

6/10 Okay

Great location, not so great on the cleanliness scale.

This unit is very large and a has a great view of the ocean. The pictures on VRBO are all exact (date stamped 2012) and everything was still the same, which kind of grossed me out. We ended up stripping the beds, except for the bunk bed bedding, which looked new and updated. The unit seems very cluttered with fake plants and furniture that is too big and very worn, ripped, faded etc. The unit was pretty dirty too. Things like vents, fans, corners, doors, and bath mats. It just didn't fit my standard of cleanliness- which I would consider "normal." Light bulbs were burnt out and batteries were missing from the DVD remote. I have contacted the owner about all of these issues and she replied that most things will be addressed, but that was it. I would LOVE to stay in this particular unit again if most of the issues were addressed, but based on the response I got from the owner, I am not sure that will happen. The owner was prompt with booking questions and arrival questions, but not so responsive in regards to the complaints. The condo itself makes for a very easy vacation and the unit has a great view of the ocean and is a spacious layout.
