Located on the south side of 30A, this well-designed condo, Beach Hat, is just steps away from Watercolor's newly renovated Beach Club, private beach access, restaurants and shops. Throughout the home rich, honey-colored wooden floors are offset by mostly white décor, creating a serene yet welcoming space. The first level of the condo features an open concept kitchen, living and dining room flooded with natural light from a wall of windows trimmed in bamboo shades. Balconies on both levels are perfect for early mornings or late afternoons, with gorgeous Gulf views available on the second level of the condo. Upstairs on the second level, you'll also find the spacious master suite, with white board and batten walls and a natural wicker king sized bed. Beach Hat is perfect for a couple's getaway or family of four beach trip thanks to a sleeper sofa in the living room and downstairs

NOTE: When booking, please provide the correct number of adults and children that will be staying in the home. WaterColor requires a wristband for all guests, to allow access to the amenities (pool and beach) so you must provide the correct number of guests to ensure everyone will have access to the community amenities. We are not able to provide additional wristbands after your arrival, so it is imperative you inform us at least two weeks before your arrival if there is a change after the time of booking. The HOA will not allow more than 4 guests in this home at any time, and they will not issue more than 4 bands per stay. No exceptions can be made.

Many of the communities along 30A are continuing to expand, so many more individuals can come enjoy the crystal blue waters of the Panhandle. Unfortunately, a side effect of this is construction and all the items that come along with it, such as noise, road blocks, etc. We understand this can be inconvenient for our guests, which is why we have chosen to make all possible guests aware of the possibility of this during their beach vacation. As most of this is outside of 30A Cottages realm of control, we are not able to offer discounts/compensation for any noise complaints, road blockades, etc. during a guest's stay. Please reach out to a team member with any questions you may have!

We are not able to reimburse any additional service fees incurred for online bookings outside of our company website since these fees are charged by a third party. We do not offer 100% refund for cancelation at any time after the booking has been processed. A 5% cancelation fee will be charged to cover credit card and document processing for all cancelations.

Very nice condo with very easy access to Watercolor Beach Club. Located in the third building down from the beach club, this unit is in easy walking distance to Watercolor restaurants and shops. The unit is pleasantly furnished and the balcony areas are well designed for privacy with nice screening from neighbors.

Location was FANTASTIC! We traveled with our 2 year old and walking to the beach every day was so easy! Literally footsteps away from the beach club. The watercolor amenities are fabulous! We enjoyed the cozy treehouse feel of our apartment. It was clean and comfortable and very well stocked. The views from the top patio were awesome! We had a great stay and will plan to stay again.

This property was PERFECT in every way! Close proximity to everything - beach, shopping, dining and entertainment. Bikes were an added bonus and probably one of the things we enjoyed the most. The trails were straight across the street from the property which made it so quick and easy. The accommodations were very very nice and clean. I loved the shower in the master bathroom and my friend enjoyed the jet tub in the downstairs bath. It was truly a Perfect weekend!

We loved our stay here! The place was very clean and comfortable. It was so conveniently located, just a minute walk to the pool and beach. We loved walking around to the nearby shops and restaurants as well. Beautiful view, everything we needed for a nice stay. We stayed here with my husband and I and our three kids and we all fit perfectly. We had our two eight year olds downstairs on the pull out couch and they were very comfy sleeping there. Upstairs we had a pack and play set up in the master bedroom with us for our little guy and that worked very well. Plenty of room for all! Thank you so much for offering your place to us!

This property was ridiculously close to the Watercolor Beach Club and beach. It was also right in the middle of the Watercolor shops and restaurants. It was a short walk, 0.3 miles, to the boat house for paddle boarding, and a 1.8 mile bike ride to the kids club pools. It’s on the third floor, but has an elevator to bring your stuff upstairs and down easily. The master bedroom was really nice and the top floor balcony has a view of the ocean. Our kids are 10 & 7 and shared the fold -out couch, which worked great for them, and having a full bath downstairs was a nice convenience. We would definitely stay here again. One thing to note: the beach access is only stairs, so if you bring a wagon full of beach toys, like we did, be prepared to have to carry your wagon up and down the stairs.

We enjoyed the condo—it’s a long flight of stairs to the bedroom, but we knew that going in. The design is unusual, so potential tenants should study the photos. The outdoor seating spaces were much appreciated (some cushions would improve it). Location ideal for those who enjoy resort atmosphere—lots of activities, kids, etc. After staying in other Florida locations, we were surprised and somewhat offput by the invasion of golf carts and bicyclists all around—and with sub-optimal nighttime lighting it all seemed hazardous. Watercolor has everything you need, mind you, but if need/want something else—access to non-resort restaurants, easy drive to a grocery store, uncrowded beach—you’ll find it a bit disappointing. If you don’t mind wading through heavy traffic for a grocery store visit and dodging teen-age golf cart operators, you’ll enjoy a lovely condo, excellent weather, and a clean, well-managed resort.

Great condo in watercolor! It was very quiet the time we were there. Parking was close and easy. Condo has an above-average equipped kitchen - great for cooking! We really enjoyed the balcony deck overlooking the ocean and caught a fantastic sunset on our first night. Very clean and up to date! The unit appears to be overall well-cared for. The bikes were also nice to have. The beach and pool access are a short walk away. Suggestions for improvement: The unit is very hard to find upon arrival. The buildings are not numbered from the street, which makes it almost impossible to find the building without getting out of your car and walking around. A map of watercolor with the building identified should be in the check-in email. The bed is very, very, very, firm. Consider getting a more comfortable bed. The upstairs TV remote had no batteries. The oven light never turned off; the oven door did not seem to close all the way - hot air escaped into the room when we tried to use it (and thus didn't do a real good job heating food...).

Unfortunately we noticed immediately after arriving that the house smelled very musty. It smelled like mildew to the extent that we had to go and buy plug in air fresheners and sent to candles to be able to manage the smell and tolerate it a little better. On our third day of the day, I actually pulled back the top sheets and blanket off the bed and found blood on the sheets not only on the flat sheet, but some on the top sheet that was underneath the blanket. red, dried out spots of blood. I immediately emailed the property management and received absolutely no response! Being a public health, nurse, it really disgusted me since I was aware that it could be a potential health hazard to sleep on those sheets. I fully expect an immediate response and housekeeping to be out there to provide fresh sheets, but none was given. we ended up sleeping on top of the blanket and not the sheets at all for our last day there. Something like this should not be overlooked and is basically inexcusable period. Will definitely not be staying at this property again!

I felt mislead to show up to the listing and it was a third floor apartment. This isn't described anywhere in the listing and after 10 hours of travel and driving in circles for 15 minutes just trying to find the building, we were very disappointed. When we arrived, sand was the floor in the living and the master bedroom comforter reeked of mildew. It got into the 40's the first night we were there and we were freezing. They very quickly fixed the comforter problem the following morning but the longer we stayed, the more we found. Silverware and scissors were sticky and dirty. Cups that hadn't been cleaned and an elevator that banged and skipped almost every time we got on it. We felt very unsafe on the elevator and took the stairs the majority of our visit. I am 6 months pregnant and we have a 2 year old so this was not easy! If the property would have been clean and the customer service a bit more accommodating, or at least apologetic about the misleading listing, we would have loved it. The location was great and the apartment is VERY cute. It just wasn't clean. We unfortunately won't be back.

I thought this was a terrific condo and the perfect location from which to finally explore Watercolor and the entire 30A. We used the bicycles for hours a day (I recommend opting for a basket and headlights), being able to walk down the steps and pedal away was so convenient. We were also just steps away from the Beach Club, boardwalks to the beach, the too-adorable shops and FOOW (Fish Out of Water restaurant). We also walked or pedaled frequently to Seaside and to Grayton Beach to dine, shop at art galleries and go deep sea fishing. Another review mentioned the third story location but there is an elevator option so it's not a problem, we just enjoyed the views and the lovely treehouse feel. Only qualms in the unit is that compared to other VRBO's I've stayed in it's pretty sparse on supplies. We went to the nearby Publix to fill in with a bar of soap, TP, laundry soap, and spices (thankful for the bike basket!) Also the king bed was fine for us but very firm, as mentioned, and I wish it had a nice mattress cover - it's just a thin sheet over a hard mattress - it worked but def more utilitarian than luxurious. Overall I would happily come back to this unit.

Perfect location in Watercolor. Close to the beach club, shops, boat house, Seaside and Grayton. The house was just as advertised & we enjoyed watching the sunsets from the 2nd floor balcony. The kitchen was well equipped though we found ourselves eating out most days. The check-in/out process was a breeze. Thank you for sharing your home.
