"Very cool vibe, excellent staff, clean rooms, and air conditioning!! The building is at the crest of a large hill for your information. There is a tiny elevator but to get into the hotel there are a few steps, another step to get to the reception area, then three stairs to get from reception to the elevator- for those with accessibility issues this might not be the place for you unless there is a ramp to the elevator I didn’t see. The outdoor bar area is excellent and the drinks at the hotel bar are some of the best we had in Lisbon (especially the Esqina one). Room 34- 3rd floor: We had a basic room which was quite small but fine. It had twin beds and they were hard. I asked for another duvet and slept on one and used the other for a cover. If you’re Canadian- no face cloths, so take your own. Water pressure was amazing and the shower was great. Very little privacy from the separate toilet room and no way to latch the door. The door would close during the day but swing open at night. Simple latch would be helpful. Only complaints: -Scent piped into the main area by the bar/front entrance-very over powering and I’m allergic to scents so I couldn’t hang out in that great area -There is no way to secure your hotel room door from the inside. The staff just came right into the room when we were in there. There was no sign to indicate we didn’t want service or do not disturb. A simple chain could fix this. Overall a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the hotel."

Lisboa Pessoa Hotel

"I stayed at this hotel in July 26 (solo female), never having visited Lisbon before. It is a wonderfully welcoming hotel with a great reception team who are there for you if you need anything. The hotel feels very safe for anyone visiting on their own as well as clean and well kept. Location is perfect. Many key tourist attractions are within 15 mins walk of the hotel. My food favourites were Pinoquio and BAHR. I recommend spending a lazy afternoon beside Belém tower wandering around, with a beer stop along the way. The rooftop bar was a lovely way to start my visit to Portugal. Hard recommend to all!"

"The staff very helpful and friendly. I liked how they have cold water at main desk to drink. Location its close to everything. Breakfast is amazing traditional Portugal food. Plenty to choose from. I would tell everyone to stay here it was my first trip to Portugal."

Hotel Santa Justa Lisboa

"Right in the historic Baixa district, the hotel is just steps away from the famous Santa Justa Lift and Rossio Square. It is a completely flat area making it highly walkable, meaning I could easily access all the top shops, restaurants, and historic sites on foot. A very nice surprise was the free minibar in the room, which was fully restocked daily with water, juice, and beer. They brought us a bottle of wine and a smaller wine bottle as a thank you note from Expedia and the hotel. The staff was very helpful and courteous. We definitely recommend Hotel Santa Justa."
